Surrounded by fields of sunflowers, beautiful house of character renovated in a contemporary style, in the heart of the Lauragais, overlooking the Pyrenees.
The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bath / shower rooms, it can accommodate from 10 to 12 people. It is fully equipped with a beautiful living space. Inside, comfortable and luminous rooms to isolate, rest or do sports (exercise bike, rowing machine). You will enjoy moments of sharing, playing billiards in the games room. You also have internet wifi access.
Outside, in the property of 1. 5 hectares, a very nice terrace with garden and a barbecue to make meals and enjoy the summer days by playing petanque, badminton, volleyball on grass Or in a swimming pool, or ping pong.
The space, the calm and the greenery will allow you to recharge with family or friends.
Very large swimming pool secured with salt, mosaic of 13m x 5m (its bubble cover and its exposure allows to maintain a temperature of 25 to 32 degrees), with a wide beach and catamaran cloths to lie down and relax .
Numerous walks in the surroundings by bike or on foot. Anguyales is 5 kms from the Canal du Midi (UNESCO World Heritage Site) accessible by bicycle by the bank of the river. The location is ideal to discover the main attractions of the region (city of Toulouse, wine tours, abbeys, Cathar castles, bastides, medieval city of Carcassonne, typical market of Revel, lake with sports activities ... or eat a cassoulet In Castelnaudary!).
Just 5 km from Anguyales, the Bastide village of Anjou, gives you the opportunity to do your shopping (superette, bakery, pharmacy, bar tobacco, post office, restaurant, doctor, nurse, hairdresser)

Great time in the southern french countryside

Domain Anguyales was a wonderful place to stay with our adult children. Really got to see life in a rural area yet close enough to reach both Toulouse and Carcassonne for more historic city life. We even drove to Argeles sur Mer for a day at the Mediterranean. Lots of opportunity to walk nearby as well as to mountain bike down to the Canal du Midi and the pilgrimage route from Arles to Toulouse and beyond to Spain. Great Saturday market in Revel 20 minutes away plus others nearby as well as bakeries and big supermarket as needed. The house had plenty of rooms so everyone could have their own space. The pool was beautiful with great view across wheat fields. Modern kitchen made cooking easy, plus wood fire outside for roasting and grilling. David and Isabelle live right behind the house so they are available when needed but unseen when not. They made us a great multi course meal with wine tasting so we could enjoy dinner with our "feet under the table" one night. Delicious! Great property to visit which we could go back to when we return to the region.

Magnifique domaine avec tout le confort attendu !

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour au domaine Anguyales. Tout était parfait : l'accueil des propriétaires, leur disponibilité et leur discrétion (ainsi que les délicieux légumes du jardin), la location en elle-même et son confort, la piscine avec sa superbe vue,... Idéal pour une famille également avec de jeunes enfants. L'endroit est central pour visiter l'Aude, Carcassonne, le Canal du Midi, etc... Et on peut toujours compter sur les conseils de David et Isabella. Merci à eux ! Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Agréables vacances en pays Lauragais

Jolie et agréable propriété au calme avec une grande piscine (13 metres) avec vue sur la chaîne des Pyrénées ! La maison est très bien équipée pour passer d'agréables vacances. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et réactifs lorsqu'il y a un problème. Nous avons même pu profité de leurs délicieuses tomates et prunes du jardin : un régal ! En quelques mots : c'est une location que nous recommandons!

Excellente vacances. A recommander.

Le domaine correspond de manière authentique aux photos disponibles sur le site. Les propriétaires sont très sympas, accueillants et sérieux. Le premier soir, nous avons été acceuillis avec un apéro élaboré et avons reçu des infos sur les environs, les activités et visites possibles. Les propriétaires vivent à côté et sont facilement disponibles tout en étant extrêment discrets. L'entretien de la piscine est effectué tous les jours. David et Isabella ont la gentillesse de partager les légumes de leur jardin et les oeufs de poules. La vue des chambres, sur la campagne environnante, est un réel bonheur le matin au réveil. La maison est agréable et très spacieuse ; chaque chambre a ses propres sanitaires ainsi que de vrais lits doubles. Le dépaysement est total. Le domaine se situe au calme de part son isolement. C'était notre première expérience Abritel et celle-ci a été très positive. A recommander que ce soit en famille ou entre amis.

Presque parfait

L'environnement est idéal, au calme avec beaucoup d'espace. Tout est pensé pour un séjour sans problème, beaucoup de petits détails le montrent. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et se "mettent en quatre" pour les vacanciers, nous avons rarement vu ça! Le seul bémol concerne la procédure de départ. Il est indiqué 10h comme heure limite, et dès avant 9h les personnes chargées du nettoyage font irruption dans la maison. Ma famille a trouvé cela plutôt gênant, les bagages n'étant pas tous terminés.

Zalig verblijf in Doamine Anguyales !

We hebben een zalige week beleefd in het Domaine Anguyales in Montmaur. De grote troeven van de woning zijn : * prachtige woning met alle mogelijke comfort (vaatwas, wasmachine, droogkast, oven, microwave, ... ) * groot en mooi zwembad (met een prachtig zicht op de Pyreneeën) : wordt elke dag perfect gereinigd door de eigenaar Dawid. * veel ontspanningsmogelijkheden : tafeltennis, volleybal, pool biljart, grote TV (flat screen), petanquebaan, .... * super vriendelijke eigenaars (Dawid en Isabella) : blijven steeds dsicreet op de achtergrond maar zijn altijd bereikbaar en lossen alle problemen en vragen voor je op ! * Table d'hôtes : voor onze eerste avond hadden we vrienden op bezoek en zorgden Dawid en Isabella voor een leuke en vooral lekkere wijndegustatie vergezeld van een overvloed aan streekproducten en gerechten. Geen echte minpunten te vermelden : wel rekening mee houden dat restaurants en winkels zonder wagen moeilijk te bereiken zijn.

Marvellous Montmaur

This is a wonderful luxurious converted farmhouse that is large, modern and comfortable. The modern fully equipped kitchen is ideal for family living. It opens out to a sun filled garden and dining area where we had our lunches and dinners. There’s also a Summer kitchen where you can BBQ inside. The bedrooms are large and airy. Beautiful modern bathrooms. Lounge is comfortable and big and includes big screen TV and Canal Plus. And there’s a games room! Of course there’s a tremendous swimming pool, large enough for laps and games. We sat outside by the pool on the decking looking out across to the Pyrenees. One great advantage of this property is that there’s so much space around the house to enjoy. You can see for miles. Overall it was a joy to spend two weeks in this spacious house. We spent hours and hours looking for the perfect accommodation near Carcassonne and we found it here in Montmaur. David and Isabella who live next door are the perfect hosts. Never obtrusive but always there if you want help. Their welcome dinner and drinks was a charming introduction to the Domaine. Be warned though you certainly need a car and the supermarket is about 10 minutes drive away. Restaurants are also not close by. But the accommodation is so lovely you hardly want to leave. It is an ideal spot to visit locations in the area including Carcassonne, Toulouse, Rocamadour and the foothills of the Peyrenees. We definitely plan to return.

Wonderful!

This is a wonderful house in an excellent location. Beautifully appointed, David and Isabella have created a superb property that is a total pleasure to stay in. They are excellent, welcoming hosts who really care about your holiday, and who are totally discreet but are on hand to assist with advice and support whenever needed - and are generous with their garden grown herbs and vegetables! The house is a joy - the swimming pool brilliant and a whole range of activities means that you are rather inclined never to leave. Around Montmaur there are some excellent sights to see, especially Carcassone which is an outstanding early medieval city and very close. But Castres should also not be missed, and Toulouse is worth a visit, and close to hand. There is shopping within 5km and some very good local restaurants, most notably the Relais de Riquet on the Canal du Midi at Segala. It is the house, pool and location that will remain with us for a very long time, however. It is a wonderful place for an entirely relaxing break - excellent for a group of people as there is sufficient space and privacy to allow time alone as well as family/group activities. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Demeure de charme

Très belle demeure, fidèle aux photos du site, tranquillité assurée. La proximité des propriétaires n'est absolument pas gênante (discrétion +++) et leur gentillesse ainsi que leur accueil sont des plus agréables. La maison est très spacieuse et l'espace piscine est un régal. Les équipements sont de très bonne qualité. C'est un havre de paix pour se ressourcer.

super vacances entre amis

Nous étions 2 familles, 9 personnes et avons passé un très agréable séjour. Une belle demeure de charme restaurée avec gout en plein coeur d'une campagne ravissante. Confort et propreté irréprochable. Accueil très sympathique de david et Isabella, des tonnes de conseils concernant les lieux à visiter et en prime des légumes frais et herbes aromatiques tous les matins.... La piscine au top avec vue grandiose sur les cimes enneigées des Pyrénées. Merci encore pour votre accueil à tous les deux!

Juste magique

Une maison de caractère fabuleuse doté d'un intérieur contemporain tip top. Équipement comme à la maison: rien ne manque, David et Isabella ont pensé à tout ! Un environnement piscine extraordinaire avec une vue splendide sur la campagne. Des propriétaires très professionnels et vraiment très accueillant. Je ne peux que conseiller cette location, nous y retournerons c'est sur.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour. La maison est très agréable avec beaucoup d espace et nous n avons manqué de rien. L environnement est magnifique avec une très belle vue sur les Pyrénées depuis la piscine qui est gigantesque. Les propriétaires sont des mines d informations pour visiter la region. Nous conseillons vivement!
