Perfectly situated just outside the old city, but with the added benefit of a lovely garden and terrace, especially helpful with kids! Michele and Daniel have done a very nice job decorating with lovely antique pieces - very tastefully done. Merci!

Fantastique.

Michelle and Daniel are wonderful hosts. Their beautiful home is perfectly located and has all the amenities one would desire. A lovely base for exploring Provence and for returning to relax at day’s end.

Beautiful home with great hosts

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Aix at this beautiful home. There was plenty of room for our family of six and the interior appears to have been recently remodeled. The hosts were very gracious and made several accommodations for us that improved the comfort of our stay. We were within walking distance of the historic old town of Aix and this location was a convenient base for exploring Provence in our vehicle. We would certainly stay here again the next time we're in Aix!

Dreamy and relaxing stay

We loved our time in Aix, staying at the Bastide de Michelle eat Daniel. The house was clean, comfortable, and very roomy for us. The kitchen was well stocked. Showers and hot water were all ideal. The whole property is charming and safe, and we were able to park our rental car there and walk easily to vieille Aix. Daniel and Michelle responded quickly to every question. We would love to stay again in warmer weather to enjoy the lovely courtyard and patio! Would 100% stay again.

Bonjour Julianne. Nous sommes très surpris de vos commentaires concernant votre réservation. Vous avez effectué sur le site VRBO une réservation pour notre Bastide pour 4 adultes et 1 bébé. Pour raison de confort nous vous avons proposé l'utilisation d'une 3eme chambre moyennant un supplément de 30€/nuit. Vous avez valider par mail cet extra. Le jour de votre arrivée sur Aix, vous arrivez à 6 personnes plus le bébé. Nous avons un problème avec VRBO et Air BnB concernant la tarification. Notre annonce stipule un tarif de 260€/nuit pour une occupation de 4 personnes et 2 chambres Elle stipule un supplément de 30€/nuit pour l'utilisation d'une chambre supplémentaire. Nous vous avons signalé oralement ce problème, nous pensions que vous l'aviez compris. Nous sommes désolés de cet incompréhension. Sachez toutefois que l'utilisation de la 3eme chambre génère des frais supplémentaires en terme de dressings, ménage et frais divers. Désolé pour ce désaccord qui nous contrarie énormément. D.VERA

Great location! Can walk to Aix restaurants, shops, markets, etc. Nicely furnished. Very clean. Wonderful outdoor eating spots at house - garden and terrace Lovely place too hang out with group.NOTE: There is no bedroom on ground floor/level. However, because one of our guests had mobility issues, the hosts were very understanding and made up a sofa bed in the living area on ground floor. Responsive and lovely hosts!

Wonderful Experience

My family and I had a wonderful experience in Aix. Daniel and Michele's home was truly a home away from home. It was beautiful--with loads of space, comfortable beds, luxurious bath towels, a well-appointed kitchen, and a delightful porch for outdoor dining. The layout of the three bedrooms and two bathrooms worked well for our family. The first floor bedroom has an en suite bath, and the master and smaller upstairs bedrooms share a bath. The location was perfect in that we could walk to the Aix markets and restaurants. Additionally, the town of Aix is near a number of wonderful towns and cities, so that day trips were easy. Daniel and Michele were gracious hosts. They were available to answer questions, but also respected our privacy. This was truly a "home away from home" experience.

We were so happy to have AC as there was a heat wave during our stay.

Beautiful house in the perfect location a short walk to the old charming town of Aix and it’s markets. Other interesting cities are within an hour’s drive. The third small bedroom was not air conditioned and has two very narrow beds so fortunately we did not need to use that bedroom. Would definitely return

Très beau séjour dans une ville dont on ne se lasse pas!Le plus,c est le logement dans cette jolie bastide idéalement située à 6 min à pied du cours Mirabeau.Bien agencée,avec une jolie déco,spacieuse et trés confortable. Excellente literie,ce qui n est pas toujours le cas en location.Nous y retournerions avec plaisir au printemps pour profiter de la belle et vaste terrasse et du jardin ,un vrai luxe au centre d Aix! Merci ä Michèle et Daniel Vera pour leur accueil charmant et leurs bons conseils

La bastide du bonheur

Un écrin de verdure très très proche du centre ville. Excellemment bien agencée, la maison offre un espace de vie confortable. L’acceuil de Madame et Monsieur Vera est à la hauteur des lieux.....c’est à dire irréprochable. Le petit plus, une grande chambre avec toutes les commodités au Rez de chaussée.

Lovely house in good location.

This lovely house was in a quiet road and only a short walk from the centre of town. It was beautifully furnished inside and tastefully decorated. There is a patio area and garden to relax in too. The owners were friendly and helpful . I would return here if visiting Aix again.

Charming Provencal Home

This house was everything we hoped for and more. It is pristine and perfectly appointed down to the smallest detail. Daniel and Michele live adjacent to the property and are a lovely couple..ready to help if the need should arise. We loved staying in Aix and the home was a perfect refuge away from all the hustle and bustle, but walking distance from everywhere.

Superbe bastide bien située

Superbe bastide rénovée récemment avec beaucoup de goût. Située dans une petite rue très calme très proche des rues commerçantes. Nous avons reçu un accueil très sympathique de la part des propriétaires qui habitent près de la maison. Maison très bien équipée. À conseiller absolument.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Bastide du Tilleul qui a été rénovée avec goût pour apporter tout le confort moderne en conservant le charme de l'ancien.La Bastide est idéalement située à quelques minutes à pied du Cours Mirabeau mais au calme nichée dans un écrin de verdure.C'est un lieu de villégiature très agréable.
