AnJ Bed and Breakfast, family friendly, quiet country setting.

We are located one mile off route 23, in a country setting located right in the Amish/Mennonite community. We are just minutes from the towns of Bird-In-Hand, Intercourse and Strasburg.
We have a 1100 square foot air-conditioned basement apartment, with a private ground level entrance. A large lawn and swing set for the children to enjoy.
Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, silverware and utensils.
A spacious dining room and living room with two deluxe queen sofa beds.
A bedroom with a queen size bed, and a pack and play available.
A bathroom with a 36x36 walk in shower.

We have been coming here for several years now and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else! The property is amazing and the owners keep making upgrades that just make the stay even more special. I feel so relaxed and at peace when I stay here!!

Beautiful place to stay.

This is our second time here for my husband and I. This time we brought our grandkids. They loved playing outside. A truly enjoyable place to stay!! Close to Sight and Sound and that’s a bonus.

Beautiful location with great amenities!

The home was fully stocked with everything we needed including great breakfast materials. The host was super helpful with our accessibility needs. The property is well suited for a wheelchair, including a power chair. We loved the outdoor amenities as well!

Great stay in a country setting

This was a nice, clean basement rental in the country, and close to town for easy access to restaurants, shopping and sight seeing. The owners were communicative and helpful. It was perfect for our short stay.

Very nice place ...

This is a very nice apartment. It's in a nice country setting, but close to many local towns. Everything was very clean. We did not spend any time in the yard area, but it looked very nice. I would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area.

Perfectly comfortable

A roomy apartment with plenty of sleeping options. It was very clean and perfectly comfortable. Great to have a swingset outside for the kids, peddle bikes, and a nice fire pit. This is a great central location to enjoy the area. Aaron and Janice were wonderful hosts.

A Peaceful Setting After Busy Days Out!

We very much appreciate the clean and peaceful setting of Janice and Aaron's lovely vacation rental! It's centrally located close to many Lancaster County attractions. After a busy day out (we were there for 9 days), the spacious backyard lends itself to a time to relax and unwind. This was our third time staying here and we have already reserved a fourth time!

Very neat place to stay with a spacious yard and beautiful landscaping. Close to hot spots in Lancaster Cnty. We were provided with complimentary breakfast items which was a hit. Highly recommend.

Going to Sight & Sound

Went to Sight & Sound theater and this was a nice location. Host had nice amenities available. Weather did not allow for us to utilize some of the available amenities. There were a few snacks available. Property is very homey and charming. Very happy with our stay.

Nice little place while visiting the Lancaster, Pa area

Very clean, nice little place. Everything you need for a great stay while in the Lancaster, Pa area. Cozy apartment that is very comfy and welcoming. It was good to be able to come back and relax after all our daily activities. The owners are very friendly people who are only a call away if needed. They even brought us fresh doughnuts on the morning we were leaving.

Beautiful Memories Happen Here

This property is so much more than you see online. Aaron and Janice make absolutely sure that you have everything you could possibly need. You will absolutely love it from the moment you pull into the driveway. The yard is so inviting we really wished we could have stayed a few days. We were pleasantly greeted by the property owners when we arrived showing us our rental Although we didn't cook there, everything was provided to do so. We enjoyed the swing and garden out back plus a few snacks and bottled water that were provided. Truly, our home away from home. Thank you!

The property was bigger than I expected. The place was spick & span. There were a lot of items available to eat. They even had honey (which I use in my coffee). Unfortunately, we did not get to meet our hosts but maybe we will use their place again when we return and will meet them then. It was very convenient to the things we wanted to do while we were there

Rentals are not always as they are described. This one deserves 5 Stars. What a lovely apartment in a beautiful area. The yard makes you never want to leave. Than you Janice and Aaron. We look forward to returning soon.

Wonderful time at a beautiful location

This was an amazingly cheap price for the location and amenities that you get access to. The actual place is nicer than the pictures suggest. It’s super clean and a very fresh house with older nostalgic style. You get access to all ages bikes, fire pit with firewood, swing set , hammocks and patio picnic area. I understand why some reviewers mentioned that they plan on coming back here. All those things for a very cheap price with a kind couple that manage their basement with fast response time. This property is worth way more. I had a great time with my kids.

Peaceful, Comfortable, Cozy and Clean Apartment!

Janice’s well appointed apartment is comfortably furnished, absolutely spotless and very restful. It is very roomy and well equipped for a family as well, with toys, books, portacrib and high chair. Janice was very responsive and helpful. We had such a restful stay in her lovely, quiet haven. The bedroom had no windows which allowed for a darkened rest into the morning after a late night. Janice thoughtfully provided snacks, coffee, cream and bottled water. There was such a peacefulness about this delightful apartment. The location was great too - convenient to many sites yet in the middle of farming country We will be back!
