Camping Le Suroît *** enjoys a privileged location on the south coast of the island of Ré. At 600 m from the beach and 15 minutes walk from the picturesque village Le Bois Plage en Ré, you will enjoy the largest daily market of the island (in July and August) and the proximity of many shops all season.
Activities:
To ensure you have good times with family or friends, the campsite has a heated outdoor pool (from mid-June to mid-September) with paddling pool, as well as a brand new heated and covered pool of 100 m2 with & nbsp bubbling bath and massage benches open all season.
NB: Bath shorts and bermudas are forbidden, swim briefs are obligatory.
Many activities are available on site: children's playground, table football, multisports ground, table tennis, petanque, bike rentals, etc ...
Animations:
From 07/07 to 01/09, a team of animators offers activities for the whole family.
Indeed you can participate in sports activities (6 days / 7) such as: aqua gym, fitness, aerobics, sports tournaments, fitness classes, dance initiation, etc.
In the evening, find yourself with themed evenings, karaoke, games or dance evenings.
Kids Clubs:
A children's club 4-12 years old will welcome the little ones 5 days out of 7 where painting, collective games or manual activities will be proposed to them.

Ile de R�������������� cycling tour: What better than a bike ride to discover the diversity of the riches of "Ré la blanche"? Take the path of culture of the Ile de Ré which will lead you first to the prison of the citadel of Saint-Martin-de-Re recognized as one of the twelve major sites of Poitou-Charentes. Then take the direction of the Fleet en Ré to discover its charming port built in the 18th century. Continue your way to the western tip of the island to Rivedoux, through the Abbey of Châteliers, where the fort of Redoute des Sablanceaux awaits you. Then head to the oldest village of the island, Saint-Marie-de-R��, with its beautiful wild beaches and its magnificent Gothic bell tower, this village will amaze you. Finally finish your tour of the island by returning to the Bois-Plage-en-Ré by surveying the largest market of the island as well as the cooperative cellar of the island winemakers where you can understand the production of pineau, wine and cognac, a guaranteed taste and olfactory awakening. Your stay on the island will be like cycling, it will not be forgotten.
The Maritime Side of the Island: After discovering the south and the center of the island, discover the north of the island composed of many salt marshes. To understand this salt production technique, go to the Ecomusée des Marais Salants in Loix en Ré. Then walk along the shore, where during your walk you will pass by oyster tasting huts. To add an even more natural note to your trip, the Lilleau des Niges Nature Reserve, in Portes-en-Ré, will open the doors to the world of birds. Like a bird, climb the top of the whale lighthouse located on the northern tip of the island at Saint-Cl����ment-des-whales to see from the air the beauty of the land.
La Rochelle (23 km / 35mn): Fortified city between land and sea, you will find several historical monuments such as the medieval towers of the old port, the famous door of the big clock, dating from the Middle Ages.
Zoo de la Palmyre (100 km / 1h30): on 18 hectares, come to observe more than 1600 animals of all kinds, distributed in 130 species. in the heart of a forest of maritime pines, close to the beaches bordering the estuary of the Gironde, it will delight the youngest and the greatest.
