Long term or short term rental. Make yourself at home in this well-appointed charming 2-bedroom 1920's bungalow, "La Casita Inn". This (pet/child free) home in Downtown Vancouver is located right off Main St. You will have the home all to yourself. Large Kitchen and full appliances. Primary bedroom has a Queen bed. The second bedroom can be used as a office (single sleeper sofa) and living room has a double sleeper sofa. Sleeps two comfortable and a third person on sofa bed. Three guest total. Washer/dryer. Parking front and back. For your safety, we have security cameras in the front outside and back outside of the house. Bike path to the waterfront right outside the front door and into Portlandia. (Bike rentals available downtown) Enjoy a cup of coffee or pastries at Simply Sweets. Yum! Walking distance to shops and restaurants. New Seasons and Safeway close by. Fort Vancouver 5 min. Bus line located on corner. Vancouver Lake a quick 10 min. Ilani Casino 15 min. 5 fwy nearby. PDX airport and downtown Portland 15 min. Peace Health, Legacy and the Veterans hospitals all within 15 min. You will love this home and the area. The location is tops! Have stayed at Lupe/Mike house several times while we were moving up to Vancouver. The property is very well kept and has a real home feel to it, which is why we always stayed here. The location can’t be beat as it is fully walkable to all of downtown Vancouver and the waterfront. In the market of rentals this one is a real find and would recommend this to anyone coming to the Vancouver area.

Great little place close to downtown

Check in was easy. The house was clean and had plenty of amenities to make the stay pleasant (coffee, shampoo, etc). It's easy walking distance to downtown and the waterfront.

Lovely place to stay

We enjoyed our casita in Vancouver. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Mike and Lupe were great hosts, very responsive to all our needs. I would highly recommend this lovely home.

Exploring Vancouver

Property was charming and well maintained, the check in process seamless. The location was amazing and so close to the waterfront and downtown area. It was raining most of my time in Vancouver but the cottage was so relaxing and the surroundings beautiful, I highly recommend this cottage whether you are there for a brief stay or something a bit more lengthy.

Charming with an excellent location!

We have friends in the same neighborhood which made this the perfect spot for us. There is easy access to downtown Vancouver and Portland. Our host is lovely and very helpful, all amenities were provided, and it has a lovely updated bathroom and kitchen. We will be back for sure!

Delightful home.

Spotless home in a lovely neighborhood. The area has many gorgeous trails for both biking and hiking. Although our trip was short, we thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable bed and well furnished home. We plan to book this home again.

Wonderful experience!

My husband and I loved this beautiful cottage. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The home was well kept, clean and charming. It’s clear they have put a lot of thought and heart into their casita. This home is in a great location. It’s close to downtown Vancouver and Portland. There’s even an amazing bakery across the street. Fresh pastries in the morning were an added bonus! I would definitely come here again and highly recommend it to others. Thank you!

Absolutely Perfect

I found this space last minute when a scheduled trustedhousesitters sit was canceled last minute due to homeowner illness. This space was everything I didn't know I needed, absolute perfection. Was such a great place to call home for a bit

I personally chose this property because I wanted to stay in this neighborhood as we are currently thinking about moving to Vancouver. I will say that I have never felt more at home than in this property and this neighborhood. When I was on the front porch there were countless people who said hello and asked how my stay was in Vancouver. Where I"m from the only sight you see of your neighbor is their tail lights in the garage as the door closes.I want to first say that this property far exceeded my expectations. Lupe/Mike have taken the time and thought to make sure you have everything you need and more. They take the time to care for this property and it shows, that is why their policies are in place. I really cant say there was anything they missed, even had extra blankets/sheets/towels, etc., all marked with yellow post it notes (You will know what I'm saying.....). This place was also SO CLEAN, which in the industry is hard to find. I just cant say enough good things about this property, oh yeah I'm bring my spouse back are in 2 weeks to stay again.Thank you so much for making my stay a memorable one.

Centrally Located Quaint Craftsman

We stayed at this VRBO for only two nights, but absolutely enjoyed our stay. Located in a charming urban neighborhood, this house was 1-2 miles from everything. We arrived around 6pm, tossed our bags inside and found an amazing BBQ restaurant within 2 miles of the house. When we came back and settled in, we found that the house was well stocked. They thought of little things which was appreciated (coffee station with real creamer in the refrigerator, for example). We enjoyed the coziness of the house. The owners labeled items throughout the house with instructions which was very helpful. There is a coffee/pastry shop two houses down from the house (the cupcakes and pastries are soooo good). We had coffee in the morning on the front porch and enjoyed waving to the neighbors as they walked by with their dogs or kids. We asked for a late check-out and appreciate the owners accommodation. The were very responsive and easy to work with. I’d recommend this VRBO and will stay here if we are in the Vancouver/Portland area.

Lupe’s cottage was as charming as pictured, and immaculate!This was probably the most well stocked vacation rental in which we’ve ever stayed.The welcome basket filled with goodies, and the chilled waters were much appreciated after spending a long day on the road.I highly recommend staying here!!!

Great Home in Uptown Vancouver

What a cute, cozy getaway! This home had everything you could ever need. The hosts were very responsive and had little notes everywhere explaining things-really appreciated that. The location is great, as it’s near Uptown with great restaurants, shops and cafes within walking distance. We definitely will be back.

Visit to Vancouver

First impressions: lovely front yard , nice landscaping, well cared for. Porch: comfy seats, inviting a rest. House. Very clean, smells fresh . Big kitchen, appointed with everything one could wish for to prepare a dinner. Large bedroom, lots of storage, comfortable bed. Small bedroom with pullout bed, was comfortable for one of the guests who is light. Bathroom between the two bedrooms was fine . Living room with plenty of comfortable seats. Laundry room is large and washer and dryer worked well . Lots of welcome goodies in kitchen. Quiet neighborhood!

Great stay

Charming bungalow in a quiet neighborhood. Easy parking access via alley. I could see myself making a home in the lovely spot. Plenty of restaurants with easy parking. The Green Chile burger and fried brussel sprouts at Pacific House were fabulous. Carol's Corver Cafe served up delicious breakfast in massive proportions.

Uptown bliss

This was the perfect property for my stay. It was serene, fully stocked, and in great neighborhood. Bonus is I could walk to downtown, has a bakery next door and nice porches and patios.

Cozy Cottage Stay

We have enjoyed staying in the Casita every year! We enjoy the neighborhood walks, the Simply Sweet bakery across the streat, and the comfort of the cottage. It is exceptionally well supplied for in home cooking and dining which works for us when we invite our son, daugther and granddaughter over for a family dinner during our yearly visits. Out thanks to Lupe and Mike for providing this lovely home and for their outstanding support of their visitors.

Great little house!

This is a great little place for two people, or maybe two people with a young child or maybe two. Very clean, very quiet. Parking is plentiful behind the house. I would not recommend for two couples-- The second bedroom is very tiny. Otherwise, the house is very well setup to cook and to stay for a while. A bus line is close by, a bakery is just across the street, and the new New Seasons grocery store less than a mile away is huge plus if you want great groceries and prepared food items.
