Maison idéale entre amis

La maison est parfaite pour passer un séjour entre amis ou en famille. Les extérieurs sont les atouts de cette maison, grande piscine, espace ombragé pour les repas, table de ping pong, terrain de tennis, basket... Rien a dire sur l'environnement, isolée et calme. Les propriétaires sont arrangeants et très gentils.

Schönes Haus ins toller Lage

Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und alles war in bester Ordnung. Das Haus liegt auf einem weitläufigen Grundstück mit zahlreichen Möglichkeiten sich zu betätigen (Basketball, Minitennis, Tischtennis). Der Pool war schon außer Betrieb, ist im Sommer aber sicher eine weitere Attraktion. Die Betten waren fertig bezogen, Handtücher in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden und die Küche komplett ausgestattet. Das Haus liegt optimal für Ausflüge zum Wandern, Stadtbesichtigungen (Aix, Cassis, Marseille ...) und an den Strand.

A stay in a home not a holiday villa

I would like to begin this review stating that for a lower price point this villa would have received a much more positive review., as expectations would have been considerably lower. The villa is an old style building consisting of predominantly 1 floor (there was a second floor containing a master bedroom and balcony, however as a guest this was not accessible. There is a dining room, kitchen, living space, utility room, 2 double bedrooms and a twin room (not suitable for adults as the beds were about 60cm wide). The double bedrooms are ensuite but no toilet or shower (of which there are zero across the whole villa) and house an extremely small bathtub and sink. The best features off this property are without doubt situated outside the villa walls. The pool despite its flaws was great, it was a brilliant size and consisted of a diving board and steps in and out at both ends. The electric gated entry system was also brilliant, as well as shaded parking options. There was plenty of outdoor space which included access to a rather run down mini tennis court and basketball net. Unfortunately this is where the positives end for the large part. Despite the villa having a lovely owner who was polite and helpful to a large extent it was to our dismay that we came across several things that we simply could not look beyond. Every bed in the villa is incredibly uncomfortable. The mattresses are rock hard, which may be suitable for some but each of our party found them unbearable leading to us buying blow up mattresses for the duration of our stay. Secondly the villa gets HOT really hot and there are no fans provided and certainly no AC fitted in this rather dated villa. The kitchen was missing many vital pieces of holiday cooking equipment with no pizza tray or cutting wheel in sight or even scissors. Another issue was how dated the utilities were especially the dishwasher which appeared to be older than any of us staying in the villa. The oven had a large crack in the class and the washing machine was very complicated to use. The fridge was also guilty of a slight water leak which made the kitchen floor an extreme slip hazard. The pool as I mentioned was excellent overall however it was surrounded by many loose pavings and was uneven around the edges causing dangerous trip hazards. Additionally the villa was marked in many locations by pieces of red tape indicating cupboards and rooms not to be accessed. We found there to be more of these restricted cupb
