Amazing cliff home with private pool and incredible white-water ocean views.

Thank you for your kind words—we’re so glad you enjoyed your stay. Guests consistently love the peaceful setting, ocean views, and the chance to truly relax on the patio, so it’s great to hear that stood out to you. We also take pride in keeping the home well-equipped and communication smooth throughout the stay. Mario will appreciate the mention as well—he does a great job taking care of the property. We’d love to host you again anytime. You and your family are fantastic guests!

Thank you, Alan, for taking the time to leave a 5 star review. Christine and I are so pleased that you had a great time! Mario let us know that you plan on booking again for next year. We look forward to hosting your family again.

Thank you Alex. So glad you enjoyed your time at our place. Hope you're able to come back again sometime. All the best, Chris and Christine.

Thank you for your kind review—we’re so glad you enjoyed your stay. Guests consistently mention the deck and the overall ease of settling in, so it’s great to hear that stood out to you. We’re also happy everything felt well-prepared and comfortable for your visit. We truly appreciate the kind words and look forward to welcoming you back on your next trip to Montezuma.

Thank you so much, Troy! We're very happy that you enjoyed your stay. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your review.

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It truly means the world to us to know that the home, the setting, and the experience all resonated so deeply with you. Sunrise over the ocean is one of our favorite moments there, and we’re so glad you were able to enjoy that magic as well. It was an absolute pleasure hosting you. Guests like you make sharing this special place so rewarding. We’re also grateful for your kind mention of Mario — he takes great pride in helping our guests feel comfortable and cared for. You will always be welcome back, and we sincerely hope our paths cross again in the future. Until then, thank you for choosing our home and for being such wonderful guests. Warmest regards, Chris & Christine

Thank you for your kind review—we’re so glad you had a wonderful stay. Guests often comment on the ocean views and sunsets that really define the experience, and we’re happy to hear the pool and in-home laundry added to your comfort as well. We appreciate the note about the iron and have already taken care of it to ensure everything is fully dialed in for future stays. We’d love to welcome you back anytime.

Thank you so much! We are so happy you enjoyed our place. It is rather unusual to have so much rain in late December, but I am glad that Mario was able to help make the best of it. We hope you are able to visit again!

Thank you Dave. We are so happy you enjoyed yourself. We would love to have you come again anytime.

We are so very sorry and completely surprised to hear that you had issues. It is unfortunate you did not see that we do not include a dishwasher in our listing. In your messaging with our caretaker, Mario, you write and I quote; "Great place we enjoyed our stay" and that "everything was perfect" leaves us wondering how we can make things better for future guests. You also wrote "I will give you a very good review"????! The "archaic plumbing" comment in our not quite 20 year old home was a bit bizarre, but I guess you can't please all the people, all the time. I genuinely hope you were, at the very least, able to notice the incredible whitewater views and the abundance of wildlife and nature that surrounded you. Pura Vida!

Thanks Nancy, we are so pleased that you were delighted to stay here. We hope that you are able to come back some other time.

Thank you, thank you Jason. We enjoyed hosting you. We're happy that you enjoyed our little slice of heaven. You're welcome to come back anytime.

Thank you so much Bryce. So glad you and the kids enjoyed your stay. Costa Rica does have its' struggles keeping everyone powered up consistently with so many power lines running through the trees. It is a tradeoff, but the beauty of Costa trumps the conveniences we can demand in the city. Living in the jungle is definitely not for everyone. Hope you are able to make back it back again to hang out with the howlers. We'll be waiting! ;)

How disappointing to receive a 3 star review on top of the dozen or more 5 star reviews we’ve had from EVERY other Guest. I suppose a home tucked in on the edge of the cliff, above a beautiful beach town isn’t for everyone. To us, our neighbors, and our previous guests, our location is one most coveted. It also seems rather harsh, perhaps even unreasonable to judge our home poorly because of power failures throughout the community, due to storms in the area. You also failed to mention that the 1 year old refrigerator (that most likely failed due to a power surge) was replaced within two hours of your reporting it. We are really very sorry that you were disappointed with your stay, Eric. We are glad that you at least were able to enjoy the sunrises, and wish you all the best.

Thank you Richie. So glad you enjoyed our home, and Montezuma. I see you’ve already booked yourself another trip! Welcome back! Pura Vida mai !

Thank you so much Estrella. We are so very happy that you enjoyed your stay at our place. You’re welcome back anytime! Mario and Cata spoke very highly of your family, as well.

Thank you Jean for your kind words. I am so pleased that you enjoyed our home, and so happy that you enjoyed your visit to Montezuma. There really is something about Montezuma that no website, picture or words can describe. Please come stay with us again, anytime.

Thanks so much for your comments. I am thrilled that you enjoyed yourself so much. You are welcome back anytime to hang out in our little piece of paradise!
