Brand new construction custom built by the owner. The Trappers cabin will take you back to a time long ago with its wood walls & rustic feel surrounded by wildlife mounts. Whether you are coming to town to fish the local creeks or Lake Erie, go on a hiking, or covered bridge tour or simply relaxing on a vacation, we have the place for you.

I stayed here with my husband and two kids to attend the Conneaut D-Day event and it was great. Very close to everything we needed and we got a lot of fishing in at Elk Creek and Presque Isle. The place was very clean and spacious and had all the amenities we would need. The outside area was also well kept and very nice! We really enjoyed our stay.

Great cottage for fishing trip

Cottage is perfect for a fishing trip to Erie - went with father, brother and son. Great location, clean and well-equipped. Hope to stay many times in future.

Very convenient for our stay!

I thought the location was perfect from the wedding venue we attended over the weekend. Very clean place and property, inside and and out. We enjoyed our stay while we were in town and would recommend this place. The rooms were spacious, had air and heat plus the kitchen had everything we needed. We did leave some water, beer and unopened wine in the fridge for the next family....Thank you for a good experience

Short Lake Vacation

This property is a hidden gem. It is very spacious and has all the amenities that one would need to live on the premise. My kids loved the "trapper" theme of the place with all of the furs and taxidermy work. We wanted something a little more private (ie. not like a hotel) and this property was perfect. It is private and relatively quiet, but not far from all of the nearby attractions of Lake Erie.

First time in Jeffs place . It will not be the last . Place was just what we needed for a short fishing trip . Met Jeff . Super nice guy . We will be coming back next year for our next adventure fishing on lake erie .

Reunion

This place was EXACTLY what I wanted!!! VERY private...calm setting. Never saw a soul except for the group of ladies in the other cottage coming and going. Jeff you have a HIDDEN JEM for sure. The place was BEAUTIFUL just BEAUTIFUL...We are looking into coming back sometime in Nov. Thank you for making our gathering a MEMORABLE one!

Really nice cabin!

We LOVED the cabin! Not only was decorated so nicely but it was really clean and spacious too. It had everything we needed as far as linens, towels, cooking utensils. It does have well water, so the water was a little smelly. But there was lots of bottled water provided for us for drinking and cooking. Based on the map we thought it would be pretty close to the highway but it was actually tucked back by the woods which was really nice, especially for letting our dogs outside. The owner was really nice as well when I talked to him over the phone. We would definitely come back here again!

Walleye fishing trip

My brother and I planned a walleye fishing trip for our dad for fathers day. The place was perfect for the 3 of us. Very clean and private. The property has great amenities such as a detached laundry room and fish cleaning station. The walk-in shower was great as well. This property has everything you need to feel at home. Highly recommend!
