Lack of Communication & Professionalism
If it were possible to give zero stars here, I would. The house we stayed in was fine (if you don't count a few dead bugs, a broken toilet paper holder, the main bedroom shower that wouldn't drain, and water and ice filters in need of replacing). However, this company's response time is beyond ridiculous, as was the way the owner spoke to me (gaslighting me, blaming me through his tone and questions for the problem itself) after an issue with smoke detectors in the home. They are rude, unprofessional, and clearly don't communicate to their clients or each other about issues happening with their properties. I had to call/email four times during normal business hours to talk about the rate difference in the house we originally booked and the house we were moved to because of damaged decks. The decks are no one's fault, and I was happy to move houses, but the lack of communication after I simply wanted to chat about the rate was ridiculous, as was the way certain issues with the house were handled--smoke detectors kept going off, staff either did not communicate to the owner to the owner of the company that they were going off or lied about it, as he thought the issue was a simple battery replacement. Highly recommend going with another rental company for your SSI vacation.
