Bright Modern All Season Open Concept Cottage - 5 minutes from Bayfield

Welcome to 'Serenity Now!'

This beautiful modern open concept cottage is set on a ½ acre grass and treed property just off Hwy #21, five minutes south of Bayfield and fifteen minutes north of Grand Bend. It has a bright open-concept living space with 20 ft cathedral ceilings and lots of windows for natural light.

The cottage is all season, fully furnished with 3 bedrooms and one full bath. The master bedroom has a King sized bed, second bedroom a Queen bed and the third bedroom has a double/single bunk bed –sleeping 7 comfortably. (Note - bed linens and personal towels are not provided.)

For entertainment there is wireless internet, a Smart TV with android box so you can use all your favorite TV watching Apps. There is a DVD/VCR combo and stocked cabinet with movies. Or - shut off the screens and enjoy our closet full of board games!

Enjoy the sunny wrap around deck at the front and side of the cottage with a walk-out from the living room and another from the master bedroom. There is a BBQ and lots of patio furniture for eating and lounging. Perfect for catching some rays on a lazy afternoon. The backyard is spacious and cleared and includes an open fire pit.

The cottage is equipped with all full sized appliances - fridge, stove, dishwasher and washer & dryer. In addition there is a toaster/convection oven, microwave, electric kettle, crock pot, and coffee maker. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking and serving comforts of home. We are on municipal water (drinkable) and septic system. There is a wood stove in the living room and baseboard heating in every room.

Lake Huron beaches and sunsets are not to be missed. We have 2 beach accesses that are shared by only members of our community. Both are a couple minutes walk from the cottage. One access is a slope path down to a ramp at the edge of the water, the other are stairs to another beach area. The beach is a combination of sand, pebbles and rocks with a gradual entrance into the lake. Lake Huron Sunsets are known to be spectacular. Be sure not to miss one!

Charming Second Visit!

My family and I stayed here last year over Thanksgiving and booked it again for our summer holiday! It was gorgeous in the fall and even better in the summer! We had a lovely time staying here again! It was very comfortable and we loved watching the hummingbirds and other wildlife.

Lovely cottage, close to the beach

Clean and spacious and full of light, with excellent decking for outdoor entertaining and ‘al fresco’ meals. We return year after year because the hosts are so gracious and there is everything we would need here for a relaxing vacation.

Cozy cottage stay

Why they chose this property

We called our cottage 'SERENITY NOW!" after the Seinfeld episodes where George Costanza father (Frank Stiller) is calling out for 'Serenity Now!' If you haven;t seen it - check it out... then come to our cottage for some Serenity Now!

What makes this property unique

Our cottage is modern and open concept, bright and airy with cathedral ceilings and one side of all windows for natural light. Spacious and clean, there is lots of space inside and out to enjoy.

Lake Huron is a big lake with Ocean-like sounds as it ebbs and flows on the shore. The sunsets are some of the best in Canada and not to miss. Often cottages in Lake Huron on on the edge of a cliff, we have a paved slope down to the water's edge, easy to access across the road from the cottage.
