Welcome! Enjoy time with family and friends at this beautiful lakefront property on Birch Lake. The lake has 15 miles of shoreline and a maximum depth of 45 feet. Good fishing is available on Birch Lake for northern pike, walleye, crappie, and largemouth bass. This lake is known for producing some quality walleye. Other fish include bluegill, rock bass, and perch.
The main house is a charming updated 1400 square foot home with 3 bedrooms and a sleeping capacity of 6. There is a gas fireplace in the living room to enjoy the coziness on a cool evening, or a spacious large deck on the lakeside to enjoy an evening outside in the warmer months. The main house also includes a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a spectacular view of Birch Lake! We are just a few miles away from the Paul Bunyan state trails for snowmobiles and/or walking trails, Public Water access to launch your boat for water recreation and fishing. Depending on the weather, the dock, kayaks, canoe lily pad and grill, and outdoor seating will only be available; typically from May 10th to September 15th.
Summer Pontoons rentals are available, as well. Call Cody at 218-820-3201. Hackensack also has a great store to rent electric bikes in town. If you are in need of a boat rental please ask.
Please, no more than 2 dogs on leashes at all times on the property. No cats allowed. All guests on the property must be listed. No additional guests or pets are allowed. If there are additional guests or pets, you will be asked to leave with no refund given.
*There is no room for Campers or RVs on the property.
Check-in time is 5 PM. Check-out time is strictly 10 AM so that we can turn over the cabin for the next guests arriving. Every thirty minutes after 10 AM you will be charged fifty dollars per half hour. A rental agreement and liability forms must be signed 24 after the confirmed reservation.

We are from Mn. We live in Katy, TX. We are huge believers in family time. Our space is a quite great getaway with fun places to visit also just miles away from the house.

Our property has two houses during the spring and summer you can rent both. During the fall the main house is available. a large side yard. and just a few steps away from the lake. We do have two TVs and a DVR with basic Tv Channels for rainy days. We also offer Kayaks, Lily Pad to use with liability forms signed before check-in. summer. This lake is primarily managed for northern pike and walleye and secondarily for bluegill, largemouth bass, black crappie, and yellow perch. The lake property owners of Birch Lake homes and Birch lake cabins in Hackensack enjoy an added bonus. After spending a day enjoying their lake property, they can boat into town, park at the city docks and enjoy a great meal at one of the restaurants in town. Birch Lake has many areas of excellent sand shoreline and many older cabins sitting right on the waterfront. Birch lake is a fun lake to put your boat in at the city docks and take a slow cruise around the lake while looking at Hackensack.
