Pool Side Safari Cabin

This newly remodeled Safari Cabin is your ticket to a relaxing vacation in the exciting Southern California area. This large master suite and living space with kitchen sleeps 4, with 1 queen bed , 1 sofa bed. You will have a private locked entrance and parking for a maximum of 2 vehicles.

New Queen Serta Perfect Sleeper Elkins II Eurotop Plush has Cool Twist Gel Memory Foam and 825 Custom Support Coil System for those that enjoy a firmer mattress. There is a Costco 4" Memory Foam Topper for those that want to feel like they are sleeping on a cloud. We can have the bed made to your choice, just let us know in advance.

Enjoy this beautiful 750 Sqft space with log-wood paneling, vaulted ceilings, private bathroom and large walk-in closet. The cabin also includes your summer entertainment with games, movies, wifi, boogie boards, and more upon request!

This cabin is located at the back of the main house and you will have shared access to the Pool, Jacuzzi, and Patio with a Gas Fire Pit, lounge area, and access to the BBQ. Please be courteous of the homeowner, access to these shared spaces can be withdrawn at anytime.

Cabin lays on a quiet street that is close to major freeways and 20 minutes from the San Diego Zoo, Beaches, parks, lakes and the Gas-lamp Quarter. Neighborhood is quiet, quaint and friendly with no traffic so you can enjoy the front of the house and large yard with kids. Easy access to main roads and highways.

Also near Lake Murray which has amazing recreation with great fishing, bike paths, hiking and beautiful sunsets.

Access to the entire cabin and outside parking. Parking is limited to only 2 cars. We have security cameras outside to monitor parking as well as keep an eye on security.

Living Room: 1 Sofa Bed (Sleeps 2), TV


Guess Access:
Access to the entire cabin, not the house or the garage, private locked entrance, 2 parking spaces with security camera and motion detecting lights.

We let you enjoy the cabin without bugging our guests, but please let us know if there is anything you need. We will get back to you quickly.

We will check in with you upon arrival and will be available by cell phone or text if you have any questions or concerns during your stay. We want to create a space for you to relax and enjoy your time. Of course we will be available if you need us, our hope is that our cabin would be a relaxing place for you to create lasting memories with your friends or family.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Trash and recycle cans are located outside the sliding glass door by the pool. Trash, pick up is Monday morning. Please make sure the trash is out Sunday evening.
Please put all used sheets and towels in the hamper, located inside the closet
Please turn off air conditioner, heater and lights
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Children must be supervised in pool area at all times Diapers must be covered with Plastic pants No Diving in Pool

Fabulous! Extremely clean and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. Very quiet and peaceful. The outdoor areas are wonderful-putting green right outside the front door. Close to everything. Communication with host was great with easy clear directions. 10 out of 10!!

Perfect place to unwind

Loved our stay here, the pool and spa were fantastic, no more than a 30 min drive from everywhere we wanted to go but felt like we were out in the countryside away from it all.Great communication from the host making the whole process stress free, we will definitely be looking at an another longer stay in the future.

The Safari Cabin is a beautiful, relaxing place to stay. It has a lot of room and is well stocked to make your stay feel like home. Sandy is fantastic and very helpful. Will stay here again when back in San Diego

Absolutely Perfect!

Normally I’m a little suspicious when all the reviews are 10s but decided to give this place a shot anyways. We are so glad we did. It’s everything it says it is and more. Sandy is very easy to communicate with and goes the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need for your stay. We will definitely stay here again if we are in San Diego!!

Great Vacation Rental

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very nice home in a great location. I wouldn't hesitate to book it again in the future. The property is beautiful. Our family had a great time in San Diego and this home is a short drive to all major attractions in the area.

So welcoming with lots of entertainment opinions.The pool and landscaping is absolutely gorgeous. The guys in our family had a "golf tournament" that got quite funny and competitive.Lots of good memories made.

A safari escape..

Very cute safari themed one bedroom! Fully stocked! Has everything you need and then some. Great location for us while visiting family. Would absolutely stay here again!

The Safari Cabin was perfect!! Well equipped with everything you need and more! Quiet but centrally located to so much. We traveled to SD for our daughter’s softball tournament and some college tours. It was 15-25 minutes from everywhere we needed to go. The pool and yard are spacious, fun and nice to relax in after a day at the fields. Sandy is absolutely incredible! She is responsive and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stand and will definitely be back!!

Quiet, peaceful, lots of amenities

I really enjoyed my stay at the safari cabin. It’s in a quiet, safe area which was important to me as a solo traveler. The cabin itself was spotless and well-stocked. The outdoor spaces are wonderful and I’m bummed that I didn’t have time to use the pool. Sandy and her husband were gracious hosts. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location for San Diego vacation

This property was a perfect place to stay for our family’s San Diego vacation! Spacious for my wife and I and our two sons. We were given full access to the large front and back yards with putting green and pool and spa. The host was wonderful- helpful and open to communication. We loved our stay and look forward to going back!

OUR "HOME' IN LA MESA, CA

The "Lodge " is far and away the best rental we have used in the San Diego area. It feels like home, all things considered. This will be our go-to rental whenever we travel to this area.
