great apartment in Cascais

what a location! the restaurants are just out side your door. the beaches are a short walk away. Paula’s apartment was very well equipped. Lots of room. small grocery store around the corner. i spent a week here, catching up on my rest. nice comfortable bed. planning on coming back next year. maybe even longer stay!

Winter week in Cascais

Fabulous location within easy walking distance to everything. Perfect size for 2 or a couple with kids. Paula is very quick to respond, pleasant, and helpful. The apartment was equipped with everything needed in the bathroom and kitchen, including coffee and tea, which was a nice surprise. For anything else, there’s a great store right around the corner. The only reason it’s not a 5-star review is because the apartment is directly above a restaurant, where they seem to arrange tables/chairs early and late. Also, the heater in the main living area seemed to have been programmed to run for a few minutes and then off. We found ourselves feeling cold when we were in that area. I would definitely recommend this place! I could imagine it being fabulous in the warmer months!

Slice of heaven

The apartment is in a prime location of the old city. Restaurants galore (and a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant right below). In the midst of all the action and music, and still quiet and cozy for a family of four (including a 2 year old). At 10pm the music shuts down and the streets become quiet. Market right around the corner, museums and the beach down the street. A perfect get away. Paula, the owner is easy to reach and is very kind and thoughtful. We look forward to returning.

Location! Location! Location!

Located right in the center of the action! This does make it loud until late at night with live music playing. The space is very comfortable. There is only a washing machine and not a dryer so we needed to use the laundry mat across the street since we were there almost a week with a family of 5. We also needed to buy extra toilet paper and beach towels because extras were not provided. We were only given one bath towel each. Overall, we loved staying here because the location was perfect! It is easy to get to all of the beaches and restaurants on foot!

CASCAIS ist Wunderbar

Das Apartment befindet sich in der ersten Etage eines 3.-stöckigem Hauses mit insgesamt 12 Apartments von denen die meisten als Ferienwohnungen vermietet werden. Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich zwei Restaurants. Das Apartment ist für vier Personen optimal für einen Urlaub geeignet. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, das Bad ist mit 4 QM recht klein. Das Wohnzimmer ist großzügig, hat eine Klimaanlage und eine Schlafcouch für Notfälle. Der kleine Balkon ist sehr praktisch und ausreichend, auch um die Wäsche zu trocknen. Beide Schlafzimmer sind für jeweils zwei Personen ausreichend groß, die Betten sind komfortabel allerdings haben die Schlafzimmer keine Klimaanlage. Falls ein PKW genutzt wird, unbedingt die Garage buchen, die Parkplatzsituation auf der Straße ist schwierig. Das Haus befindet sich mitten in der Altstadt von Cascais in einer sehr lebhaften Gegend, umgeben von Restaurants und Bars. Alles ist schnell und problemlos zu Fuß erreichbar, Banken, Apotheken, Supermärkte, die schönen Strände und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt. Die Vermieterin spricht sehr gut Englisch und ist immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit.

You cannot beat the central location of this apartment, literally 3-5 minutes walk from everything -- bus and train station, beaches, farmers market, parks, and so many restaurants and shops. And the apartment itself is great as well, has everything you need for a pleasantand relaxing vacation in Cascais. Family of four had plenty of room and slept comfortably.
