Perfect Location with Charm

Very clean & Stocked with all the essentials

This is by far the cleanest property we have stayed in. They have thought of all the details and have the kitchen well stocked. The neighborhood is great! The stairs to the loft are tricky to navigate, so just be aware of that if you have small children or others in your group that may have trouble with stairs. It is a very nice, clean and well decorated place.

The guest house is perfect for a visit to Boulder. It is very clean and has everything you need. It is in walking distance to restaurants/shops and Colorado campus. We are looking forward to staying again, thanks Paula!

Whittier guesthouse

Lovely, well appointed property in a cute neighborhood. Hosts are very helpful- great if you need them, will give you privacy if you prefer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this rental.

This is a very special property. It’s been beautifully renovated and furnished and the owners have thought about all the details when stocking up on the things one might need. The location was great and just minutes to drive to Pearl Street and tons of shopping. We even walked to Pearl Street one day and it was a lovely walk. For our personal preferences, the beds could have been softer. And the water takes a few minutes to heat up. But otherwise this place is perfect and we would eagerly stay here again.

I work in media/entertainment and am a licensed Realtor here in Boulder. Originally from the east coast, our family of 5 relocated to Boulder and we love it here. The mountains, weather, active lifestyle, college-town-vibe, and great food/restaurants make Boulder a perfect place to live!

Why they chose this property

We wanted to live in Central Boulder, so we felt lucky when we found a fabulous 1925 original Bungalow in the Whittier neighborhood, that needed a bit of updating and expanding to fit our family and so we could host friends, family and guests. We love hosting guests in the bungalow; and we live in the main house at the back of the property. It's private and quiet, yet located right in the heart of Boulder, walkable to shopping and restaurants s well as everything the town and surrounding areas have to offer. Biking, hiking, climbing, camping, skiing, great food, shows, arts, music and more are all right here!

What makes this property unique

Our architect designed the bungalow's layout and renovation, which was completed in Summer 2018. We completely renovated the space with Boulder's top green builder, dedicated to using green materials and methods. Radiant heated hardwood floors are throughout, creating a cozy feel. The kitchen features top of the line appliances and a large island with quartz countertop. Central air and ceiling fan. New mattresses and bedding. Large bath has walk-in shower with glass doors and ceramic tile. Super sparkling clean.
