This is our first time using Vrbo and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. The hosts were wonderful and our living arrangements were incredible. I will definitely return to this beautiful place in Western Maryland.

Ken and Cheryl's place was truly enchanted! As soon as you pull onto the property you felt the magic that they put into their space. All the personal touches from the chocolates left on the bed to the beautiful picture ready spaces. We will be returning to their property in the future. Also, the animals are amazing! Never seen a rooster in a tree before, but I have now! The wildlife of the turkeys and deer frolicking in the field together was awesome to see! Ken was great with communicating and giving recommendations while we were there!

Beautiful and peaceful property. Well stocked and comfortable. Hosts are friendly and welcoming. A great place to relax and unwind. Thought there was a weight room and pool, but discovered they were down the road at the local college. A bit disappointing. Otherwise a great time was had by all.

Wonderful place with everything you need

Can easily accommodate 6 people comfortably, and keep everyone entertained with the views, movies, boardgames, and a full-kitchen. Safe and quiet, with a responsive host nearby.

The space is fantastic. It's so thoughtfully designed, both inside and out, and being greeted by the sweet cat was wonderful. Our only complaint was the rooster deciding to start crowing at 3 a.m. on our first morning.

Loved the cottage!

We loved the cottage & the property. Off-the-beaten-path enough to be tranquil, but close enough to everything that we had planned to do locally. Ken & Cheryl were wonderful hosts. The cottage was cozy, comfortable & immaculately clean.

Special retreat

This is a really cozy, thoughtful spot not far from restaurants and the mountain and lake but in a very serene setting with caring hosts. I enjoyed sitting by the fire, surrounded by snow. I would definitely recommend and would definitely return.

Great little place!

Great little place in the country! We were in town for a WVU game and wanted a nice place to stay - great alternative to the hotels charging extremely high rates due to the game. Wish we had more time to spend and relax at the apt. Rooster on the property, so be ready for an early morning wake up call ;)

Peaceful!

Our stay at the Butterfly Suite was the exact peaceful weekend we needed! It was larger than it appears in pictures. The fireplace was lovely, especially with the snow outside. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed to make meals, including spices that we forgot! We will definitely be staying again!

Well appointed suite great for a getaway.

My husband and I were looking for a convenient stay for a quick midweek getaway. The Butterfly Suite fits the bill perfectly! The suite was well-appointed and had everything we needed, plus a few extras! The bed and couch were comfortable. And the location was just 10 minutes away from Wisp, shopping, and dining. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Shady Acres Weekend

Property was very clean and included all the necessary amenities for cooking. Access was easy and the owners were available if needed. It includes a king size bed that was very comfortable. I strongly recommend this property.

Did not disappoint!

I almost don’t want to give this little treasure a good review so it doesn’t book up too much! We will definitely be back. So private and relaxing!The hosts were on the same property but we never saw or heard them. The suite has everything you need and then some!
