we are a little surprised by your comment, because looking at the advert, it is nowhere mentioned that the beach is 1 minute walk away. In fact, on foot, the beach is actually 10 minutes from the villa if you take the shortcut which is 300m from the villa and which allows you, via a staircase where there is the mention, "Way to the beach" 'arrive directly at the seaside resort of Barbati and from there to the beach. It's too bad you didn't ask for the best way to get to the beach on foot, we would have told you that way straight away. We will indicate this more clearly in the brochure that we send to each of our guests before their arrival. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

Dear Juliet, We are a little disappointed with the way you are handling events, but we understand that when events come to spoil a day of your vacation, even if these events are totally independent of the villa or the owners, they remain responsible in the eyes of the guests and we admit it. Nevertheless, believe us, we have done everything possible to help you as quickly as possible. You arrived on a Saturday at 6 p.m. and you called us on Saturday at 9 p.m. to tell us that you had no water. Normally, during periods of extreme heat, the municipality sometimes cuts off the water for a few hours. For this reason, the villa is equipped with a 10,000 liter tank that is replenished when the municipality reactivates the water. In 8 years, we have never had to have this tank filled. Unfortunately, before your arrival, the municipality had cut off the water for 5 days, which had never happened before and that was the reason why the tank was almost empty. Unfortunately we were not informed of this problem since the guests present before your stay did not report any water problems, nor the cleaning service that was at the villa before your arrival. As soon as this problem was identified, we sent a plumber on Sunday morning and an hour later a water truck that filled the water tank so that you no longer had a water problem during your stay. It is true that you asked us for financial compensation, the amount of which was out of proportion to the lack of water for half a day and that we could not accept. You also suffered a 15-minute power outage, which was general to the neighborhood and not specific to the villa. Again, it is difficult for us to do anything since we can do nothing, except call the municipality of Barbati, which we immediately did when you informed us that all the electrical fuses were raised. Concerning the BBQ gas bottle, which does not have a gauge to know how much gas is left, as soon as you informed us of this fact, an hour later someone came to the villa to place a new gas bottle. Again, we think we reacted quickly to solve the problem. As for the pool ramp, it was in perfect condition when the previous guests checked out and it will be repaired quickly. In order to avoid a water problem in the future, we will equip the villa with a second 10,000 liter tank with an alert when one of the tanks is empty, so even if the municipality had to cut off the water for a long period, no guest will have to suffer any inconvenience. A second gas bottle for the BBQ will also be on site, although normally the bottle is changed automatically every 3 weeks. We hope that these measures will eliminate any possibility of these inconveniences happening again. We are sorry that these inconveniences occurred during your stay.

Toutes les chambres comportent des couvertures, mais vous souhaitiez des duvets. N'étant pas présents sur l'île, nous avons chargé quelqu'un d'en acheter pour vous.
