Our guest house is located in the heart of Slovenia, 2 miles from the main motorway Ljubljana - Zagreb, 15 minutes drive from Ljubljana. It's perfect for large families or groups of relatives, friends, coworkers. Simple, basic bedrooms, large and fully equipped kitchen, dinning room and living room, large terrace with shades, parking for up to 10 cars. Around the house you'll find seasonal fruits and vegetables (June - September), local farmers offer local meat, cow and goat dairy products, honey, home baked bread...

Great home- in a village outside Ljubljana

Great big house with nice back patio and access to garden. Easy walk to village square. Instead of coffee machine, learn to make Turkish coffee. Grocery stores accessible easily- but closed at 8PM and completely on Sundays. Host shopped for us since we arrived on a Sunday... and with advance notice, we were able to check in early. The ride to/from the airport seems long (45+ minutes), and most of our day trips required us to go past the capitol... so we drove a lot. It's worth it to take a couple hours to walk to/thru the village. Washer/dryer helpful to have. We needed to buy some basic things (hand soap, dish soap, salt), but there were lots of towels, dish towels, food storage containers.

Already as a child, I preferred to explore the surroundings, turning stones, creaking along streams, running for butterflies. Today, I try to live eco-friendly, I love long walks in nature, kayaking on rivers, and cultivating my own vegetables and fruits.

I love to meet new people, so I like to connect with my guests and help them to truly experience Slovenia and get to know our most beautiful, but less famous places.

Why they chose this property

I bought a half-built house with my wife in order to move in with our mentaly disabled daughter. During the construction, we found that the house is to big for our three-member family and that, according to the location, it could be an excellent guest house. Our first guests were organized groups of disabled people, who are returning each year now. In order to make the house really effective, we now offer it to foreign guests as well.

Dom Vita is the perfect house for large families or groups of friends, It sleeps up to 17 people and pets are welcome. The kitchen, living and dining room with connected terrace are often used for private parties, get-togethers. The area is truly peaceful, green nature, nearby rivers, caves, castles, museums and urban centers offer thousands of opportunities for almost all or more or less popular holiday activities
