Laurent always answered any questions very promptly by message. Amenities were good, with the house in a lovely size village, within an easy commute to Strasbourg. The house itself is very roomy and has a very good outlook to open fields at the back.

Charming Home

This was a great property and met the needs of my entire family. The house was very charming and spacious and had everything we needed. The location was very peaceful. Laurent did a great job with communication. We will stay there again when we go back to the area.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Wir hatten zu 7 eine fantastische Woche in Eckwersheim. Das Ferienhaus hat einen ganz besonderen Charm, es ist wunderbar groß, gemütlich, sehr stilvoll eingetichtet und gut ausgestattet. Der Garten ist traumhaft. Das Haus liegt schön ruhig in einer Seitenstraße mit Blick auf die angrenzenden Felder. Wer etwas besonderes sucht ist hier genau richtig. Der Ort bietet zudem einen schönes Restaurant und einen Bäcker. Straßburg ist sowohl mit dem Auto wie auch nit dem Fahrrad schnell und gut zu erreichen. Alles in allem einfach toll.

Small paradise

Sehr schönes Haus gebaut aus vielen alten Materialien und mit moderner technischer Ausstattung. Inmitten eines großen gut gepflegten Gartens in einem ruhigen Bereich am Ortsrand. Das Haus hat vier Schlafzimmer in unterschiedlichen Größen. Wir waren mehrere Tage mit bis zu 8 Personen dort. Das hat gut funktioniert, erfordert aber gute Koordination bei Nutzung der Bäder und Toiletten. (Eine moderne Dusche mit Toilette in der oberen Etage, eine kleine Toilette im Eingangsbereich und ein erwas älteres Bad ohne Toilette en suite in einem der Schlafzimmer. Sehr großzügiges Wohn/Esszimmer mit Kachelofen. Darüber zahlreiche Elektroheizungen.

Tolles, altes, verwinkeltes Fachwerkhaus mit viel Charme und einem sehr schönen Garten mit Blick auf die Felder. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und gemütlich mit einem Kachelofen für die kälteren Jahreszeiten.

Es war fantastisch!

Der Spätsommer im Elsass war wundervoll und den wohl schönsten Ort, um die Zeit dort zu genießen, haben wir mit diesem Haus gefunden. Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Das Haus bietet alles was man sich wünscht, die fantastische Architektur und die hochwertige Einrichtung haben uns sofort in beste Urlaubsstimmung versetzt. Die Gemälde haben uns begeistert! Es gibt inzwischen auch zwei Toiletten (in irgendeiner alten Rezension steht, es gäbe nur eine). Sitzauflagen für die Stühle draußen haben wir nicht gefunden. Wir sind uns sicher, dass Laurent, der fantastische Gastgeber, bei Ihrem Aufenthalt schon eine Lösung dafür hat. Wir kommen wieder!

Renoviertes historisches Bauernhaus in traumhafter Lage

Wir waren im Juli 2023 hier in Eckwersheim. Es handelt sich um ein altes historisches Bauernhaus, welches sehr behutsam und geschmackvoll renoviert wurde. Das Haus steht am Ende einer kurzen Seitenstraße in einem Dorf mit ca. 1300 Einwohnern. Es liegt im Großraum Straßburg, trotzdem sehr ruhig und abgelegen, angrenzend an ein Feld. Der Garten ist großzügig und sehr idyllisch, mit mehreren Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Krähen des Hahns in der Nachbarschaft oder das gelegentliche Tuckern von landwirtschaftlichen Geräten gehörte zum Dorf-Feeling. Das Haus selbst ist sehr sauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit von der Ehefrau des Vermieters selbst gemalten Bildern. Wir waren maximal zu viert drin, deshalb hatten wir Platz ohne Ende. Es gibt 4 Schlafzimmer, aber nur 1 Bad mit Dusche. 1 Schlafzimmer hat ein kleines Bad mit Badewanne, welches aber nicht mit einer Tür abgetrennt ist. Es fährt jede Stunde ein Bus nach Straßburg, den wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Man kann auch mit dem Auto 10 min. bis Vendenheim fahren, dort gibt es einen Bahnhof mit kostenlosem Parkplatz. Mit dem Regionalzug ist man dann in 10 min. in Straßburg. Von Eckwersheim aus lassen sich aber das Elsass und die Vogesen gut erreichen und erkunden. Es gibt viel zu sehen und entdecken. Mit dem Vermieter hatten wir guten Kontakt, sehr unkompliziert und verbindlich. Dieses Haus ist ideal für 1-2 Familien mit oder ohne Kinder, die eine ruhige Oase suchen. Absolute Empfehlung unsererseits.

Ein schöner wilder Garten

Es handelt sich um einen umgebauten Kotten. Das wirkt urgemütlich, hat aber so viele Möglichkeiten und Ecken, dass nicht jeder Winkel blitzeblank ist. Die Innentüren sind dünn, und löchrig, und nicht passgenau, sodass sie den gleichen Nutzen haben wie der Vorhang vor dem schönsten Schlafzimmer mit Fenstern in drei Himmelsrichtungen, die sich verdunkeln lassen, was nicht überall der Fall ist. Im Garten steht ein Trompetenbaum, der das Haus zur Mittagszeit beschattet, darunter ein riesiger Tisch, an dem wir viel gemeinsame Zeit verbracht haben. Auch im Inneren findet sich ein großer Tisch, auf den man bei schlechtem Wetter ausweichen kann. Die Umgebung ist dörflich ruhig. Leider findet sich in Eckwersheim ein Restaurant. Dafür gibt es eine so riesige Küche, dass sechs Leute gleichzeitig putzen, schnippeln, braten, anrichten, rühren und brutzeln können. Dafür gibt es einen großen Induktionsherd, einen Backofen, eine Mikrowelle und einen Thermomix, zwei Abwaschbecken und ein Gefrierfach. Wenige Minuten entfernt sind zwei Boulangerien, eine mit Patisserie. Jeder Ausflug zu den attraktiven Zielen außerhalb von Straßburg benötigt rund eine Stunde Anfahrt. - Da genießt man doch besser den Garten und kocht selber.

Petit coin de paradis

Nous étions deux familles et avons passé une semaine parfaite dans cette superbe maison. Elle est aménagée avec goût, alliant l’ancien et le moderne, avec des matériaux nobles et tout est pratique et bien pensé. Rien ne manque, et le propriétaire est toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions et plein de petites attentions comme une bouteille de bienvenue et des vélos à disposition dans le garage. Le jardin est très agréable. Tout a été réuni pour un séjour parfait !

Sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Sehr schön renoviertes Haus aus dem 18. Jhdt, großer Garten, genug Platz für 2 Familien (4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder), ruhige Lage, trotz hoher Temperaturen kühl. Sauber, Haus entspricht den dargestellten Photos. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit Vermieter, alle Vereinbarungen gehalten. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

Tolles Haus mit tollem Garten

Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Email Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ist sehr freundlich! Bei hohen Temperaturen war das Haus angenehm kühl, auch die Schlafzimmer, und unter den alten Bäumen im Garten konnten wir uns gut aufhalten. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Der Garten ist kindersicher komplett eingezäunt. Punktabzug gibt es lediglich für die Badsituation: oben leider nur 1 Bad mit 1 Toilette (für 3 Schlafzimmer) und ein en-suite Bad ohne Toilette (für 1 Schlafzimmer), daher vermutlich herausfordernd mit 8 Erwachsenen. Für uns war es aber ok. Die Auto-Anbindung nach Straßburg ist sehr gut (Achtung, neue Autobahn) und mit dem Zug ab Vendenheim erreicht man den Hbf in 10 min. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit.
