SWIM, SURF, SUN, FUN at a private FIRST FLOOR 'Carolina style Cottage' in Hidden Dunes Beach and Tennis Resort. This lushly landscaped 27 acre GATED COMMUNITY is right on the sugary white beach of the Emerald Coast and offers privacy as well as numerous amenities and activities.

Hidden Dunes is just a half mile east of the Silver Sands Factory Stores Outlet Mall and just minutes from both the Destin Commons shopping complex and Baytowne Village. The well known Sandestin golf course is less than a mile from the cottage. Numerous restaurants and recreational opportunities are very close.

The quaint towns of Seaside and Watercolor along 30a are just minutes east. The largest of 3 SWIMMING POOLS and the JACUZZIS are only steps from the cottage door and the TENNIS and PICKLEBALL COURTS are a short stroll away right on the Hidden Dunes property. The TENNIS and PICKLEBALL courts are one of the top facilities in the region and U.S.

You can RELAX and SOAK by the heated POOL (seasonal). There are BASKETBALL courts, HORSESHOE courts, and a small playground on the resort property. STROLL the scenic fountain lined path on the way to the BEACH -- the walk to the beach is short, but should you want to drive, there are parking spots right at the boardwalk and beach entrance. There is a pet boarding kennel close by, off the property -- DOG DAYS KENNELS, for those with pets who travel. The resort does NOT allow guest pets due to liability and insurance.

This cottage has all the comforts and amenities of home while providing an exotic Florida RETREAT. Experience comfortable living with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, nine foot ceilings, a washer and dryer, and a LANAI with an outdoor bar, table, and stools. The SPACIOUS master bedroom provides all the privacy with your own DUAL SHOWER while the second bedroom offers the comfort of a private hallway and space with a queen-size bed and full bath. Free WIFI throughout the cottage and resort.

This retreat sleeps a total of 4 people comfortably. The clean, open kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials you'll need to prepare everything from a light snack to a gourmet meal.

Please note: The $200 administrative fee is a returnable deposit that comes back to you following your stay, usually within 2 weeks after the property is assessed upon your departure.

Hidden Dunes is a favorite place for us to stay

We have stayed several times in Hidden Dunes and love the neighborhood and its pools and the beach location. We find it very relaxing to unplug and we will continue to return to this location year after year.

Wonderful Cottage

The cottage was awesome. Easy to get to in the community. It had everything we need for a nice comfortable stay. Owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend for anyone.

Super realxing, Great owner

Although our visit was cut short by Hurricane Issac, the time we did get to enjoy the cottage, beach, pools and beautiful gardens was so realaxing. Also, the owner was very helpful in watching the weather as the hurricane was approaching. Wish we could have stayed, as it totally missed Destin. Thanks, again, Doug and Karen for your concern and understanding.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hidden Dunes. Our cottage was beautifully furnished, clean, organized and such a pleasant surprise. We had been in the Destin area before, but this time this property exceeded our expectations. The cottage and properties was beautiful. The grounds and walk to the beach was beautiful and felt like a little bit of paradise. When we had a long day at the beach and a lot to carry, we would call the shuttle and were delivered right to the door. One morning we were treated as we walked to the beach by at least 10 dolphin that had come in for feeding...truly a highlight. This property is being kept in great shape...the area is family friendly..we can't wait to go back!!

Nice place, a little inconvenient for the beach for older guests. Main complaints: king size bed mattress in poor condition , and pillows need to be updated. Lots of palmetto bugs, both dead and alive inside cottage. Got to be too much. Owner is very informative and responsive.

The condo was very clean and we had a great time during our stay. We needed assistance with the master bedroom after arriving and Doug responded right away and had everything addressed. We would recommend this unit to anyone looking to visit Miramar Beach.

We were THRILLED with our stay at Hidden Dunes! The condo was gorgeous and comfortable and had everything we have ever needed and more. The proximity to the beach was great and the walk was beautiful! We enjoyed the lake, the pools, and the grounds so much. Already counting the days to our next visit!

WONDERFUL STAY

We had a wonderful week at our cottage in Hidden Dunes. The two bedroom /2 bathroom cottage was a perfect size. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was clean and had all the necessary cooking supplies. Hidden Dunes has two easily accessible pools, one which is heated. Each had a hot tub. Our girls enjoyed both. The walk to the beach was easy and about 7 mins (even with a child). The beach access and private beach area was large with plenty of seating. They do set up their own property chairs and umbrellas, but there is still plenty of open space for your own as well. The only issue we ran into was the lock box not working. However, this was addressed within minutes. Communication with the owner and staff was easy. We appreciated the owners quick responses and helpful information packet. All and all we had a perfect family vacation. We will definitely be returning!
