This 2001 Custom built home is 3600 Square foot lakefront home on Norris Lake with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The house is fully furnished and can accommodate 14 to 16 comfortably. It is located in Windsor Pointe(Big Creek area) only 20-25 minutes from I-75. The house sits in a deep water secluded cove which allows for safe swimming around the dock and easy access to big water for boating. The house has hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, wet bar, pool table and air hockey table in the lower level. The house has wood stairs down to a dock. The house has two large decks in the back to enjoy the view of the lake. Ice maker and two refrigerators to store a your food for a week.

Saturday to Saturday rental in the summer only. 3 day minimum during the off season.

Parking: There should be plenty of parking in the driveway which is kind of steep. No parking at the top of the street.

Great week on the lake

The house was well stocked and the amenities were great. Multiple refrigerators as well as the ice machine made everything easy. The steps to the lake were much friendlier than other places we have stayed.

Great vacation house!

We had a wonderful time at this home. It was very spacious and clean and had what we needed, things like second frig and an ice maker. Be careful of splinters on the back deck.

The house was wonderful! It was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay at the lake for a week. The property owner was ready to get ahold of when needed and the location of the dock was perfect for swimming off of with the kids if we weren’t out on the boats. We would absolutely stay here again!

Excellent Location

The house was great for 3 families. There were 3 bedrooms with king sized beds and two awesome bunk rooms for the kids. The steps were very manageable compared to other properties we have stayed at. We were able to keep 3 boats at the dock with no problem. It was nice to be in a central location and be able to visit several different marinas that were close by. We had an amazing stay!

This was our first time staying at this house. We come to Norris almost yearly with family friends. House was great, had everything we needed. Dock was large enough to dock our pontoon and 5 waverunners! We had a great time!

Fantastic Norris Rental

This house is a fantastic location sitting very close to Whitman Hollow Marina and not too far from Indian River Marina. The dock is in a no-wake zone, so it was perfect for swimming and jumping off the top deck of the dock. Our kids, ages 5-23 loved it! The house is nice and we had ample space for a big group. It was very accommodating for a large family to spend a week all together!

Great get-a-way in a great home

The property is exactly as described. When I booked, there were 8 adults going but by the time we went, the group grew to 11. There was plenty of room and privacy for all guests. Great location on the lake. I would recommend parking boat trailers at the marina or ramp you drop at as it is tough to maneuver and park in the drive.

It was great and super spacious for our group of 16 and there were still empty beds. The house is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The extra fridge and ice maker made life easier for packing coolers. Previous reviews warned of splinters from the top deck but that has since been updated and we can report no splinters! The stairs to the dock weren’t that bad compared to other places we’ve stayed at on Norris Lake but they can be slick when wet (no one fell but there was a few slips that were funny to watch). Our kids ages 10-16 loved the upper dock for jumping off. The neighbors in the cove were great, meeting our energy level of enjoying the beautiful lake with music, squeals and splashing. It’s perfect for docking boats and having easy access to them. Our favorite like many others have stated is the private dock, extra fridge and ice maker. We really loved this place and enjoyed the lake life with family just before summer ends and school begins. If you’re looking go ahead and book it! You won’t be disappointed!

Family Thanksgiving 2019

Communication with owner was superb. Jeff responded quickly and was super helpful and super informative with our questions. Layout was great and everyone loved the game room downstairs. The kitchen had everything one could possibly need. We had never used You Tube TV but we were able to get all the sports we wanted quickly.

Middle of Windsor Cove House

Had a wonderful week at this Windsor Cove house in Big Creek. 5 spacious bedrooms and lower level with wet bar and pool table, which came in handy with the rain. House is a little older (early 2000’s) but that makes it affordable and was clean and well kept. Had an issue with upstairs AC unit on our 2nd day and Jeff was super responsive and had someone out next day at 8:00am to fix. Nice covered dock far enough in to avoid massive wake waves hammering your boat and not too far in it takes too long to idle in and out. Views from the dock into cove and out to main lake were great. Even saw two bobcats across cove during an evening swim. All guests agreed we would stay again.

Annual Family Vacation at Norris Lake

The house is great, the location on the lake is one of the best, the communication with the owner was excellent. This is an annual trip for our family of 11 adults, three pre-teens, two ten years olds and three 5 years or under. Plenty to do here to keep everyone entertained for the week. Also enough room in the house for privacy when you need a few minutes to rest. Compared to other houses we have rented over the last 11 years this is one of the best. The dock for this house is located in a deep/clear water cove that is in a no wake area. We had two boats but the kids and adults spent a lot of their time around the dock: swimming, jumping from the bottom and top deck levels, fishing from the dock and lounging on the dock in the provided chairs. Other no wake areas mean a long ride to open water through a marina. This cove is only two minutes of no wake to open water. The number of steps to the lake is always a factor in what house we rent at Norris. We have had houses with fewer steps but generally that means the water is not as clear or deep off the dock. This house has 66 steps that are broken into sections with no more than eight steps section. So I would rate the lake access as acceptable (I am 72 and made multiple trips per day up and down per day). A few other things that were nice to have about this house: a internet based phone that allows incoming and outgoing calls as long as the network is available (and that was mostly reliable during the week, your cell phones generally do not have signal at Norris); access to the garage for storing coolers, etc; a second refrigerator in the garage; pool table and air hockey.

Thanksgiving at the Lake

Great house and property. Jeff is very easy to get ahold of. Our family had a great Thanksgiving here at the lake! Lots of fishing and so convenient to have our own dock. All the kids had a blast!! Jeff even left us a recipe (with ingredients!) to add to our Thanksgiving dinner. Great time!!

Labor Day at the Lake

Our group of 12 had a fabulous time. Plenty of beds & space for all. The dock was our favorite location. It is so nice to be able to rent a boat & keep att he house for the duration of vacation. Plenty of room to tie up jet ski as well. During the rain, we just floated around the dock & ate way too much food! We would definitely rent this home again.

Great place for large group and boating activities!!

This was a great house that was on a quiet cove. It was nice for the boat to not be getting beat to death by large wakes while at the dock as well as for the kids swimming off the dock. There are a couple rope swings located close to the house by boat as well as a great rock for jumping off of!!

Great Home

We all really enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of open space were we all could gather as a family for dinner and games. Bedrooms were spacious, cozy snd comfy. We rented a boat and we’re close to a couple of marinas. Everyone enjoyed our stay. It was a great choice for our family not knowing anything about Norris Lake.
