A Slice of Heaven

A slice of heaven! We stayed here with our family – three generations, ages 11 to 80 – and it was the perfect Cape vacation. Wonderful décor, spacious rooms, fun games, excellent amenities (too many to list…seriously, it has everything!), a beautiful and private backyard, and spacious back deck from which we were able to enjoy amazing sunsets. Roberta, our host, was so kind and helpful. She was wonderful about letting us know things to do in the area and responded immediately to our texts with any questions we had. The house is also in a perfect location -- easy access to Route 28, a short drive to several beaches, and a quick stroll to Sundae School (hands down the best ice cream on the Cape!). This vacation was truly special and will go down in the books as one of our all-time favorite family getaways in large part due to Roberta’s amazing home.

Relaxing week

We had a fantastic week at the Harwich Port house. The women of the house, in particular, spent hours reading on the comfortable seating on the partially shaded deck. The boys loved playing ping pong, and we all got great use out of the kitchen. Excellent location! About a mile's walk (and very short bike ride), to Red River Beach, one of my favorite Cape beaches. Close to the bike trail and walking distance to the Sundae School. A perfect respite during a difficult year. We hope we'll be able to visit again.

Awesome house for families

We had a great stay in Harwich Port. The house is perfect for families. We had LOTS of small children (including 5 who were 2 or under) and the back yard was amazing! The sleeping accommodations were great but my kids can't stop raving about the back yard. The deck is gorgeous - lots of seating for adults - and there's plenty of room for the kids to run around. We did have to drive to the beach, but there were several beautiful beaches within a short drive. Also, the adults could easily walk or bike into town. Overall, five stars. Thank you for sharing your home!

Everything we asked for and more!!!

This property was everything we wanted. Our group rented this out for a place to stay for a wedding and it was perfect. We were able to enjoy relaxing on the deck, playing yard games, and an easy walk down to the ocean. Roberta was a joy to work with, she was responsive and helpful. This place is perfect for a large group or family, it has a few kings and some rooms full of twins that would be great for kids. There is plenty of parking and the Ping Pong table was a big hit! I would recommend this place to anyone!

This is a family summer home rented rarely (2-3 weeks max) per year. We host a family reunion of 20 every summer and have plenty of room for everyone. You will not find a larger or more private backyard this close to the beach almost anywhere. You will love it!

Why they chose this property

Residential neighborhood location. Provides a unique combination of privacy and access to boating, beach and restaurants. 3 minute walk to Harwichport's largest harbor. 10 minute walk to beach. Adjacent to the Bank Street Bog Nature Preserve, with two miles of scenic walking trails. I mile from Cape Cod Bike Trail. Convenient, mid-Cape location. Whale-watch out of Provincetown for the day, take the ferry to Nantucket, hop on a fishing charter out of Saquatucket Harbor, or hang out at the National seashore.

What makes this property unique

Great entertaining flow w/ large gathering spaces -- in and out. Beautiful detail, e.g., antique, yellow pine floors throughout and teak kitchen island. Lots of windows makes for bright & sunny space. Central air throughout. Three sets of sliding doors spill out to huge 750 sq ft deck, where you can watch the sun set over the backyard. Great space for family wiffle ball, horseshoes and other yard games.
