We had a great stay, close to the pool and convenient location to the beach. If you are planning on cooking, (we made steaks one night on the grills) several things will be needed (steak knives, Tupperware, baking sheets, cutting board) but overall it was great for us four.

Wonderful!

The rooms were even better than we were expecting! The location was ideal for a day at the beach at Port Aransas. So many local delicious restaurants to choose from. The swimming pool was so unique, we loved it!!

Had a little trouble with check in but customer service was very helpful. The place was in a great location. We took advantage of the grills next to the pool and had a wonderful time. Would stay here again.

Grandson’s first time to see the ocean

The place is clean and has the amenities listed. It is only a few minutes from Whitecap Beach on Padre Island. And some pretty good dining choices on the Island. An improvement would be a small sponge or scrubber to use when hand washing a few dishes.

Spacious unit. Nice, big pool area. Good communication. Basically clean. Nice that beach towels were provided. Average/typical corporate-run short term rental. Just generally tired/worn & lacking individual property upkeep & maintenance. Very tight parking.

Beach getaway

It was very nice other than king bed has 2twin beds and was shifting. Also Second bedroom can use a TV. Condo can also use knifes, can opener and containers. Other than that place is real nice would definitely stay there again.

Decent place, no cooking supplies

The place was decent and mostly clean (some hair was left on the master comforter). There were ZERO pots or pans. A full kitchen and no way to even cook breakfast. There were mixing bowls, a mixer and 6 sheet pans but nothing else to cook with. Not sure how you can have a full kitchen with nothing to cook in. Had to borrow a skillet from a neighbor.

Nothing remarkable, just ok

Rented condo for two families for a total of 6. There was no TV in the guest room where my son stayed and no TV in the master bedroom where my husband and I slept. Extra blankets would have been nice for the two children who slept on the pull out sofa bed. Out last stay here, there was complimentary coffee/filters provided, along w/basics like extra trash bags, salt & pepper and extras like popcorn. This stay nothing was provided. We liked that it was near the pool, but two keys to the condo/pool would have been extremely helpful. The children's pool and adult pool were both full of sand and murky and there was an odor in the pool area. Not sure if this was due to trash bins or pool water being dirty. Also, the water feature on the children's pool would have been nice if it had been on continuously. The children were in the kiddie pool and a man came to clean it, not sure what he cleaned because the pool still had sand, was still murky after he cleaned. He turned on the water feature manually for 30 minutes, but I feel it would have been nice if it had been on during our stay. The bed in the master bedroom was uncomfortable, it had two twin beds and tended to shift. The shower in the master bedroom couldn't be adjusted and was pointed towards the wall, we had to squeeze ourselves into that corner to get the soap off, which was very uncomfortable. Shower should have been facing the middle of the shower. The microwave light wasn't working. Pots/pans could use updating. The whole condo floor was sandy. They claim to clean thoroughly due to "Covid" but it sure didn't seem like they cleaned very well. Very disappointed in our stay here this time around.

Very mixed feelings

Check in was fine, condo appeared clean until I had to dry some water off the floor. The paper towel ended up BLACK from the disgusting floor that clearly has not been cleaned. We specifically chose this condo so we could use the pool. There was no code given to us for the lockbox. I chatted with customer service to obtain the code. I clearly explained the situation to which I was asked “which pool”? I explained there’s only 1 pool and then was told use the key I was given at check in. I was not given a key at check in, I was given the code to the front door and THAT’S IT! 30 minutes of trying to explain myself and get a simple answer, I was given the code to the picnic and then the representative disconnected the chat. WELL … 1 key in the lockbox, for the front door…No key to the gate for the pool. I attempted to chat again AND I text the customer service number that had been texting me, only to never be acknowledged. I finally had to CALL customer service and was told the key should have been left inside the unit. THERE WAS NO KEY! I was told someone would call me. I received a phone call that someone would get with me the following day. Mind you, we arrived Friday afternoon and did not finally receive a key to the pool gate until Saturday afternoon. The baking pans in the kitchen are rusted and nasty. The outlet next to the fridge doesn’t work. The bed in the guest room is worn out and extremely creaky. We will NOT be back!

Condo close to beach

We have stayed at Palm Bay in different condos before. We like staying here because it’s not far from the beach and the ease of getting there. All condos are similar, however the King size bed in this one was uncomfortable. It had two twin mattresses … one was lower than the other and my husband kept falling through the crack in between the mattresses. The condo didn’t have an automatic key box, which we prefer. We didn’t like having to carry a key around. The key for pool use wasn’t working at the gate closest to our condo for some reason and we had to go in through another gate. I think it would be nice if the pool gate also had a numerical key entry instead of a key. Condo was clean and close to the pool. Not many people were there, so it was quiet and the pool wasn’t crowded, which we enjoyed. Would recommend staying here, but I do think the mattress needs to be upgraded to make it comfortable for guests.

Property ok, communication not so good.

This is the problem when you have a small issue like tv not on wall but hidden in a closet or wifi not working bc modem is not plugged in and there's 2 of them. When you have a person there or close by or someone who lived or cleans or manages it, then they can help, but if the property is managed by a corporation, they don't know anything about it. You are just a reservation number. How can they fix any issues? We did not install the tv on the wall bc well that isn't our job and the wifi eventually worked by trial and error, but the communication. no bueno.

Quick Weekend getaway

We booked this location last minute and it was a great condo . Condo was accessible to the pool, it was clean had pots and pans for us to cook to our needs, beach/pool towels. Condo was clean. We all enjoyed our stay here and will book again in the future.

Pet friendly vacation

Close to the beach and quiet community with pet-friendly accommodation. The addition of doggie park would be wonderful. The condo was clean, just a bit outdated with some rusting around the doorknob. No coffee table in the living area and no table on our porch but other wise very pleasant. Full size fridge and stove.

Winter Texas stay

We were happy with the location and cleanliness of our unit. The living room furniture really needs to be replaced, it is wore out. The unit was very quiet, we didn't hear any noise from neighbors. The kitchen pots and pans could be replaced. They are useable but not the best. The on-site management was great, very responsive when we had a few questions. The beds are comfortable and it was great having laundry in the unit. We would stay at this location again.

Perfect getaway

Having the pool just outside the front door was amazing. We went to the beach daily in the am, which was only a few city blocks away, then come home to freshen up, rest, then the kids would jump in the pool as I cooked dinner. The only weird thing was the master bedroom having two twins on a king sized frame. It was awkward, but totally doable. Phenomenal stay. Thank you for allowing us to feel at home in this home. ❤
