In a green setting between lake and forest, charming cottage of 60 sqm on the 1st floor of a beautiful property with large garden and fully fenced yard.

1 beautiful room with 1 bed 140x190, 1 cot with changing table and 1 wardrobe.

Lake Eguzon (the largest lake in the region) located in a natural and unspoiled environment, offers you the opportunity to practice many activities: canoeing, rowing, sailing, windsurfing or motor boats , fishing, hiking.

You will be located less than 10 minutes walk from the beach of Fougères (access by a pretty forest trail) where you can enjoy the joys of swimming and water sports, if you wish you can eat in small restaurants along the lake.

Lovers of fishing you will find your happiness because this lake is full of fish such as pike, pikeperch, catfish, many pontoons are arranged there.

Hikers, discover nearly 300 km of marked trails.

A free ferry crosses from shore to shore, several times a day, for pedestrians and cyclists.

Also discover Gargilesse, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France where George Sand liked to reside on vacation.

The Creuse is only a few kilometers away, and you will find in the villages of Fresselines and Crozant landscapes painted by the Impressionists such as Guillaumin or Monet. In Argenton sur Creuse, the Venice of Berry, you can enjoy summer and shopping events.

A program of events such as the Chestnut Festival (Toussaint) and many regional and sporting events punctuate the seasons.

A quiet peaceful place to stay.

We enjoyed our short stay at Fougeres. Roselyn and Jean Louis were very helpful with directions of how to find the gite. They organised Jocelyn to meet us on our arrival and show us how everything worked. The gite was warm and cosy with all the mod cons to make us comfortable. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

Le logement est tout à fait central pour effectuer randonnées et balades culturelles dans les villages alentour en n'ayant que très peu de kilomètres à faire.C'était les objectifs de nos vacances !Nous en sommes donc ravies !Le gîte présente tout ce qui est nécessaire et ce jusqu'au moindre détail ; rien ne manque !

Gîte super équipé tenu par des propriétaires très accueillants et très professionnels. Jocelyne est une personne très accueillante , sympathique qui sait nous mettre à l'aise. C'est un gîte très bien situé , bien équipé ,dans uns secteur tranquille et qui est à 5-10 minutes du lac.C'est un endroit qui demande une autre visite de notre part.

Gîte très confortable, très bien aménagé où rien ne manque (y compris salon de jardin et parasol pour profiter du soleil) . Tout est fait pour "s y sentir comme à la maison " ! Avons été très bien accueillis . Propriétaires charmants et à notre écoute . Gîte très bien insonorisé , idéalement situé au départ des ballades. Conclusion : Nous le recommandons sans aucune hésitation et y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Si vous cherchez un endroit pour vous reposer,vous serez comble par ce gite.Il est très bien équipè et aménagé avec gout,bonne literie .Le cadre est agréable. Propriétaires sympathiques.Le lac a proximité vous offre un large choix pour vous détendre .Des petits restos sympas.Plein de petites ballades pour se ressourcer avec dame nature.Nous sommes enchantes par notre séjour et le recommandons vivement.

Très bon souvenir de cet agréable séjour !

Très beau gîte dont les charmants propriétaires prennent grand soin ! Tout y est - il ne manque rien tant à l'intérieur (lave vaisselle, lave linge, sèche linge, ventilateurs, etc...) qu'à l'extérieur (barbecue, transats, box sécurisé pour les vélos entre autres, entendeur, etc...) La situation géographique est idéale pour qui souhaite un séjour au calme, tout en bénéficiant des loisirs du lac de Chambon accessible en quelques minutes à pied ! En période estivale, un bac fait quotidiennement la traversée de la plage des fougères vers la plage d'Eguzon ! Bonheur ! De nombreux parcours très bien balisés permettent de belles excursions pédestres dont certaines partent directement du gîte ! Encore un grand merci à nos hôtes pour la qualité du logement et des prestations fournies, et pour leur gentillesse !

Le calme dans la campagne

Rien ne manque dans ce gîte, parfait pour un séjour de repos. Excellent point de départ pour visiter la région, que ce soit l'Indre ou la Creuse, ses forêts ou ses nombreux étangs. A recommander.
