Classic Up North Log Cabin-Lazy Bear Lodge

The Lazy Bear is your own private getaway! This beautiful 3 level, 3 bedroom, 2 full bath home has over 1800 square feet to stretch out in. This full log home is surrounded by 7+ acres of woods and located on a dead-end road with just a few other homes down the road. Please be aware that there is no public river access on Bayview Ln. All surrounding land is privately owned and not open for use. The whole home is beautiful and cozy and features a loft with a custom daybed and a walk out lower level. Beautiful handmade Amish furniture accents the decor.

Many birds & animals are seen frequently such as raccoons, deer and wild turkey. We have a great, private back yard for hanging out and stargazing. Want to stay inside? Unwind, lounging in the loft gazing up through the skylights while you enjoy reading your favorite book or enjoy the fireplace. There are 2 living room areas with comfy seating to pick from! A small selection of movies & games are also provided! All pillows, sheets, blankets and towels are provided. All you need to bring is beach towels if you plan to visit local waterparks or beaches.

Winter Break Escape

What an amazing cabin! We spent three winter nights here - six teens, two adults and our dog. The cabin was the perfect layout for a group of the size. The kitchen has everything you would need. And the bedrooms are spacious and cozy. The cabin is close to Cascade Mountain and the Dells. Hope to return again next winter.! Thank you Sondra.

Great weekend get away in the Dells

Manager did a wonderful job communicating with us & checking in with us while we stayed. The cabin was a short drive to Dells & gave us the serenity we were looking for. The camp fire & basketball court was perfect for the entire family. The cabin was very clean & offers several sleeping options.

Very happy with the cabin, it was all we needed or could ask for. It had much more to offer than we could utilize, but the close proximity to the Dells while still being far enough away from the crowds was great.

50th Anniversary stay for parents

Once I found a date the cabin wasn’t booked it was easy to rent and the host was helpful and very responsive in communicating coming steps. Would easily consider renting this Vrbo again in the future.

A Long Weekend Is Not Long Enough!

A wonderful place to stop everything and relax. Civilization is close enough if you need that - and for any supplies. This cabin is peaceful, quiet, and clean. I highly recommended an afternoon on the hammock. This cabin is a serene refuge that deserves at least a week stay!

We love this area because of the unique combination of small town living, city amenities and breathtaking beauty. We'd be more than happy to share our favorite spots to hike, bike, eat and play. One of our favorite things to do is boat and play on the beaches of the mighty Wisconsin River.
