Updated with creature comforts - cool entertainment center with flat panel TV and enormous music selection on Windows Media Player system. Separate heating zones in each of the bedrooms, basement bedroom, and living room / dining room area. TV's all around. Separate boot room with heater and bench. Reliable WIFI with newly installed router. Car Port to keep the snow off your vehicle while you're not driving. Fully appointed kitchen. Overabundance of linens and towels, and a washer - dryer in the basement. Large closets in the bedrooms. New dresser in basement, which also includes a nice sink and vanity. Free HBO.

Great Guys Outing Location

Great spot. Right on Stowe mountain. Walk 50 ft to a trail to the private lift to the mountain.

Great, quiet little community. Perfect for a weekend getaway. It's a 10 minute drive to almost everything. House was just as listed. I'll definately look to come back next time. Must rent!

Great Stay

The condo was amazing for our short trip to Stowe. Unfortunately, there wasn't much snow on the hill, so we didn't get to ski as much as we wanted to. Regardless, the place was clean, spacious and in a great location!

Long weekend

Clean and comfortable ski on/off condo at Stowe. Liked the décor of the kitchen and lounge rooms. Easy access to tollhouse lift. Only negative was the Wifi was a little slow and had difficulty accessing it with a laptop.

Super cool place and fantastic location

We loved Steven’s place. It has this super cool authentic 70s vibe that suited us perfectly. Everything from the coffee cups to the macrame on the walls. Also the location was fantastic. About 10 steps up a hill to the run. Thank you Steven!

Great time at Stowe ski-in/ski-out

We enjoyed our time at Steve and Donna’s place. The decor captures the 70s like it's trapped in amber, which gives the place its charm. The location can’t be beat. Access to the Toll House lift was a short trek through the woods and down the hill and was great because it was never crowded. We had plenty of room to spread out and took advantage of the comfy couches and the gas fireplace in the living room. Two minor issues worth noting: there are quite a few stairs from the parking up to the building and throughout the unit; and the steep hill leading to the parking can be a challenge after it snows depending on your car (my car doesn’t have AWD and had a tough time getting up the hill due to an overnight snow dusting that hadn’t yet been cleared). Steve was very responsive to my questions and provided all the necessary details to ensure we had a great stay. We would definitely visit again.

Very nice

Unit was spacious, clean, and in a very nice peaceful condo community. We did swim in the community pool one morning. It was large and VERY clean with well manicured lawn and plenty of chairs and tables. Overall a great stay.

Fabulous Stowe Condo and Hosts

We had a fantastic stay at this slopeside Stowe condo. It's exactly as described and has everything you need for cooking, grilling, trail access, convenient parking and abundant space for all. We were two adults, two college students and two high school teens - all had their own space and with two full baths it works out easily. Huge table for family meals and games and plenty of lounging seating. Steve is incredibly easy to work with and very gracious. We appreciated a last minute accommodation change request which he didn't have to help us with. Communication, check in and accuracy of info is spot on! We'd definitely rent here again!

Stowe ski holiday

We had a wonderful week skiing at Stowe. The condo was comfortable and convenient to the mountain. The lift was not operating due to not enough snow, but this was not a problem since driving and parking at the mountain was so easy. We look forward to visiting again next year!

Perfect Peak Fall Getaway

Awesome communication with the property owner, very responsive to questions. The location is amazing with great views off the living room balcony, perfect for morning coffee. I stayed here for the weekend with some friends to enjoy the surrounding food and beer scene and for those who play disc golf, Smugglers Notch Disc Golf center is very closeby. These are world rated breathtaking courses and a great activity for families as well. We can't wait to come back again!

True ski-in/ski-out

We had a wonderful stay. The decor was retro and fun. The ski-in ski-out location for our 3 young skiers was perfect. We didn’t use the basement bedroom because it was too far away and felt like a separate space. The heavy door to the basement through the mud room was the biggest obstacle for the kids. It would be a great space for adults though. Kitchen was adequately equipped and the common space was large enough to entertain. The townhouse was clean but it felt like the whole place could use a good deep clean and de-cluttering. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return someday!

Excellent ski on ski off location

Just got back from a week-long stay. The rental was a great location to access the slopes. truly ski on ski off. I stayed there with my wife and three young children and having access to the home for breaks and for lunch and so that people can set off at different times was a great plus. Because the toll house lift opens at 9:00 and the conditions were so great I did drive to the main lot each morning to take the four runner lift up early to get first tracks. However ski on ski off was still appreciated as everyone in the group would ski back at the end of the day and we were able to make stops back at the house as needed. The house itself was in good working order. No complaints. Adequate parking out front. And even though the road to the house was snow packed my Ford Transit with snow tires two wheel drive was able to make it up no problem. There were also several restaurants open for pickup and delivery. My kids also did ski school and snowboard School which they loved. I would highly recommend this rental.

My father was the 2nd owner in this development, purchased in 1971. It has been in the family ever since. Dad was in the 10th Mountain Division during WWII, and you can bet his kids are skiers! As a ski patrol alumnus, I can really appreciate being able to easily and conveniently get into the warmth at lunchtime, or at the end of the day.

Quiet, but within easy driving distance or shuttle trolley of all of the excitement Spruce Village and Stowe Village have to offer...get off the beaten path and enjoy some privacy.
