The main floor includes the kitchen, dining area, living area with TV and fireplace, powder room plus the master suite and master bath. On the lower level, there are 2 guest suites with en-suite private baths plus a family room with TV, and utility room. This level also enjoys access to a lovely garden and additional patio.

Wonderful house with a responsive host and property manager. A great house for adults looking to enjoy the mountains and surrounding areas. We hope we return to the house in the future.

Great property and location!

We had a great time staying in this beautiful house. The views were amazing and we loved seeing the neighborhood deer every day. The location was great, we walked to Basalt many times, which is a great little town. The house was spacious with all the amenities you would want. The kitchen was fantastic and the professional stove was amazing. We plan to visit this property again.

Beautiful Contemporary Basalt House

I can't say enough about this wonderful house. It's a beautifully designed contemporary home with amazing taste in decor. The house layout provides a great deal of privacy and unique separation of the living space and sleeping areas on two floors. The main floor has an outstanding window line with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors and breathtaking mountain views. Those views continue into the master bedroom which is very spacious and includes a large aerated soaking tub, a double sink vanity, a huge walk in glass shower and an extra-large walk-in closet with custom built-in dressers. Also, the king bed was extremely comfortable, as was the luxurious designer bedding. The kitchen which was nothing short of a gourmet cooks dream, is open to the dining room and living room. It is a great gathering area for everyone especially after a hard day on the slopes. It's also a wonderful place to relax and enjoy dinner and afterward drinks in front of the warm fireplace with friends. The house is just a short ride to Aspen/Snowmass and walking distance to the quaint downtown area of Basalt which we visited frequently. We were all very impressed with the accommodations and the special attention provided to us by both Sandy and Kathleen. We will definitely be coming back next year!
