Semaine depaysante

Antoine nous a très bien accueilli, il est discret tout en restant disponible si besoin. Son gite est très propre, fonctionnel, tout est prévu pour 2 personnes. La terrasse est top, permet de prendre ses repas face à la mer et en compagnie de jolis petits oiseaux. Que dire du jardin? Il est magnifique. La petite plage de Malendure, accessible à pied est très agréable. On peut aussi accéder à la grande plage (5mn de marche supplémentaires) ou nous avons pu voir des tortues. Le seul problème rencontré est la connexion wifi qui n’a pratiquement jamais fonctionné. Mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer une très bonne semaine.

Une vue magnifique

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine chez Antoine. Un studio pratique et agréable chez l’habitant. Une terrasse avec cuisine équipée et une vue magnifique ! Un accès rapide à la plage de la Petite Malendure. Et surtout Antoine un hôte très sympathique et avenant qui a pu nous conseiller sur les choses à voir aux alentours.Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

A room with a nice view (une salle avec une jolie vue)

Our host Antoine was a nice man who gifted a couple of homemade items to greet us. His English is limited. I could not find the guesthouse from the VRBO description so I had to call him for directions. He was nice enough to drive to the Malendure beach and escort me. The room and bed and bath are good but it retains heat even at night. There is no air conditioning and only one small fan. The mosquito netting around the bed does not keep all of them out. The best part is morning views and the proximity to a cliff side Hocking trail. There is an easy access to this via the 3rd street light from this guest house (also marked by a white horizontal stripe on the nearby tree). I would stay here again in winter when it’s cooler.

Un lieu très jolie avec une belle terrasse donnant sur la mer. Calme et bien placé à proximité de tout. Très propre et confortable nous avons passé une excellente semaine. Le propriétaire Antoine est un homme accueillant et bienveillant que nous avons eu plaisir à rencontrer. Merci Antoine !

Antoine nous a très bien accueilli, il a été discret, à notre écoute et de très bons conseils sur la région. Nous nous sommes régalés de son planteur et sa confiture maison. Tout a été parfait, merci beaucoup !
