We choose this condo because the location is perfect for attending a convention at Grand Traverse. For half the price of us each having our own room at the resort, we still get our own suites plus the living room and kitchen area. The kitchen is well stocked. Everything was cleaning and cozy and we enjoyed the balcony, overlooking the pond and golf course. We would absolutely stay here again.

This was the perfect place for staying while showing at the Traverse City Horse Show. It is close to the show grounds, quiet and peaceful. Beds were very comfortable too!

Kitchen and bathrooms are impossibly small. Televisions very difficult to navigate, because there is no channel guide either on the TVs or in hard copy in the unit. Walkways leading to the unit are dangerously cracked and uneven.

I have rented many places through VRBO. This is probably my least favorite. The condo was OK, other than the dishwasher did not drain the water out, the shower drain was clogged with hair and did not drain and the oven did not work. The host which is a rental management company was very difficult to get a hold of and was very slow to respond if at all. VRBO was very helpful and did help me out.

We discovered that the dishwasher leaked and that the oven didn't heat to required temperature on our first morning at the property, July 28. I reported the issues that morning. The host responded July 39 at 20:30 p.m. with apologies only. The issues were never corrected after multiple contacts requesting updates. The host offered to reimburse us for meals. I have submitted images of receipts via email and have not received a response. The aerial proto of the property in the listing is misleading. This property is not on a beach.

Perfect for a Ladies' Wine Weekend Getaway

Condo was exactly as described. It was fully stocked with everything 5 ladies needed for a comfortable "home base" during a weekend full of wine tours. Would definitely use True North Properties again in the future.

The condo was clean but could use some decor updates. The bottle of champagne from Chateau Chantel was nice added touch. We visited the winery and we were not disappointed! We would stay here again and appreciated the accessibility of the property management team.

Great spot- need better directions

The property was just as described. Clean and everything we needed. The address given takes you to the main building at the Grand Traverse resort. No directions were given to the correct drive or building on the property. We had to go into registration at the Grand and ask for directions. They were very helpful. Please update your directions.

condo double booked! havent gotten security deposit back from stay over one month ago!

entered the condo in the dark evening, around 730pm, tired & hungry, after golfing all day. was surprised and scared to see a naked old man in our condo!! my 4 girlfriends waited by our car for about 30 min in the dark till things got squared away. the owner double booked, and gave us his other condo in the next building, with THE SAME door combination. needless to say, we didnt feel safe, with the same lock combo. late the next day, the lock was changed to a new number. havent received my security deposit back yet, its been a month. havent received any word on compensation or discount for the mess we experienced. havent had any responses back from owner by text/phone/email. thank goodness i wasnt hurt /hit/shot/punched for walking into a condo that other people were IN! and naked, no less!! this place isnt worth the hassle or risk. lots to choose from in the area!!

Regardless, you should not have had to have this experience and I am so sorry this happened. This is not something we've experienced, but 1 other time in 5 years and I'm not sure the cause. I've had little help from Vrbo with clarifying. We care a lot about our guests experiences and I'ts important to us that you're happy. We tried to do the best we could to rectify the situation by putting you in an upgraded condo. We've had thousands of happy guests over the years - It's upsetting for us that you didn't get to have that same experience and frustrating that the cause was something out of our control. Great Little Condo

The condo was a little outdated with some of the furniture needing repairs, repaints, etc. It felt like you were staying at your grandmas condo that people stay at but don’t really fix up. It was clean but you could definitely tell it was older and needed some TLC. Firewood for the fireplace would have been nice and it was a little hard to navigate to find the exact unit since the address itself just took us to the resort. The beds are not queen beds and they have a footboard so taller people may be uncomfortable in them as my partner was. Sharing beds was a little difficult as I anticipated a queen. The view was nice and so were the patios! Wish we were here longer so we could enjoy the resort property. Overall would stay again as location is nearby what we needed and it was affordable.

Okay at best

While everything was very clean the property is not the safest. There is no lock to the slider door which we noticed based on previous reviews, has not been fixed for over a year. In addition, no bar has been given to put in the track so the door can be easily opened from the outside. The key pad is the only lock on the main door so if someone knows the key code they can enter at any time. The decor is pretty out dated including ripped curtains. The instructions to get to the condo are incorrect on the posting. The address leads you to the resort but not to the condo. When I called the number for directions the person told me it was part of the resort but didn’t give verbal instructions on how to get to the condo. We asked the front desk at the resort and they kindly showed us a map of how to get to the condo. We would not rent this condo again. The price is extremely high for the value received and not worth the hassle we had to go through and the lack of safety.
