This charming and cozy house only two blocks from the 2/5 Subway Line in Brooklyn is an ideal place to make home while visiting New York City for short or long-term stay.

This second floor apartment in a two-family home has One Bedroom, with a Double Bed. Our Living Room offers a futon + an air mattress that can fit groups of up to 4.

Visit Prospect Park, see a show at Kings Theater or hop on the subway to Manhattan. Checkout the many popular cafes and restaurants on Flatbush Ave or Cortelyou Rd.

Loved our stay!!!

Mattjew is amazing! He was attentive to our needs, extremely responsive and helpful. I needed to reserve this place for a couple of extra days, and Matthew worked with me to confirm the reservation even though it appeared the space wasn't available (I think I it was a glitch in the system). Loved the apartment, clean, quiant and peaceful. The only thing I was a bit concerned about was, the inside liner for the shower could have been replaced. Otherwise, everything else was in great condition and clean. The air mattress was comfortable and extremely large which was pleasant. Overall, a great experience!

A very nice experience.

The apartment is very comfortable, according to the descriptions given. The blocks around the house are nice but the neighborhood is not very pretty. Only 2 subway lines arrive, but you have to be alert on weekends as they don't stop at all stations. We had a very good experience. Thanks Matt for your hospitality

Clean, cute apartment close to subway

The apartment was very clean and had all the extras one would want in a home away from home: TV, blow dryer, dish washer, clean towels and even toiletries! It’s a 2 minute walk to the subway that gets you to manhattan in about 30 minutes. Matt was available via txt and always responded quickly. Lots of food and grocery stores nearby. We enjoyed our stay!

This property is in close proximity to subway & grocery stores. Was remarkably quiet with bedroom at back. The neighborhood was a bit questionable for us Midwest folks, but never had a problem.

Hey it's Matt! Originally from Upstate New York, I’ve lived among Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan for many years. I love travel, and also lived in Osaka, Japan for almost two years. Japan was truly unique and remains one of my favorite memories. As an avid traveler, I love discovering new places, meeting new people and having different experiences.

You may also hear from Karl and Alyssa, my co-hosts. They're also transplants to Brooklyn and lived and worked here for years. Between the three of us, we'll have plenty to share as far as what to do and where to eat!

As relatively new hosts on VRBO, we're excited to help our guests have a great Brooklyn experience. The diverse communities, food, art, smells, sights and sounds of “BK” makes it one of the coolest places on earth.
