Welcome to Sweet Mountain Retreat, a luxury log cabin, which finished construction in December 2018. Sweet Mountain Retreat is a stunning 3 bedroom, 3 full bathroom (plus 2 half bathroom) mountain lodge with space for 12 and an impressive list of amenities. Modeled after the picturesque Moulton Barn in Grand Teton National Park, this cabin has a loft and the open feel of a barn, barnwood ceilings and farmhouse furnishings. As you arrive at Sweet Mountain Retreat, you will be amazed at the magnificent views of the Smoky Mountains from this large 2 1/2 story cabin!

After taking in the incredible views from the hot tub outside as well as the two-story great room inside, you can enjoy your favorite movie in the cabin’s own theater room that comfortably seats 9 people in reclining theater seats. Following a lively evening of ping pong or pool, or just hanging out with family and friends in the rockers on the deck, you can relax in one of the cabin’s two private king bedrooms (on opposite ends of the main floor) that each have their own tub, shower, double vanity, flat screen TV, and doors that open to a view of the mountains. Kids and kids at heart love the bunk room (on the lower level along with the game room and theater room) with two sets of bunk beds - one queen and one twin - and an Xbox One.

Sweet Mountain Retreat has a dedicated housekeeping crew that cleans and maintains it to high standards (most cabin rentals are serviced by rotating crews who clean many cabins per day). Many previous guests have described this cabin as very clean. We have two full sets of luxurious sheets and towels for this cabin that are meticulously cleaned and switched out before each stay, so you are not dealing with sheets and towels that were previously used in a cabin that allowed smoking, pets or fraternity parties. We have added liquid hand soap to each sink to ensure that all guests can continue to keep themselves and others germ-free.

Also, if you decide to leave your mountain paradise, you are only minutes away from the attractions of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Enjoy attractions such as Dollywood, Dolly Parton's Stampede, or The Island in Pigeon Forge.
