Villa Rey sits in Lachigolo, Oaxaca, about a 25 minutes drive from downtown Oaxaca, and about 5 minutes past El Tule. This 3 bedroom, 5 bath house features: * master suite with king bed, AC and en suite bathroom with dressing room and separate wet room * 2 guest bedrooms with AC and double beds and en suite bathrooms * Dining room with seating for 12 * Living room with Dish service and projector * Full stocked chef s kitchen * On site laundry * Pool and outdoor showerOur house is a traditional hacienda-type house. The guest bedrooms have their only entries through the outside patio. Leading up to the property our family keeps a yard for the electrical business that stores transformers, posts, and the spools of electrical wire. It is definitely a tranquil place, but the crews do come and gather materials occasionally.

I was born and raised in Oaxaca. I met my wife, Joanna, while she was on a study-abroad program from Washington State. Although we've lived in Bellingham, WA for the last 15 years we go back to Oaxaca 4 or 5 times a year. We built this house close to my family and friends and we are offering it up on VRBO to let others enjoy it while we are home! I hope that visitors will love staying at the house and visiting my state as much as I do!
