A home in 1920, Art Deco Nancy, in the heart of the village, after a farmhouse, bathed in green light and on a plot of 46 acres near Longwy, Luxembourg or Belgium. Lodging classified 4-star tourist.

Gorgeous home in peaceful area

It has to be said that in the area there is barely something nice to do for teenagers. But if they're okay with longer drives, or staying in with good working WiFi, you're good. The home is and has all you can wish for. We enjoyed the enormous garden and the quietness a lot. We took the time to drive up to Reims and also visited Nancy. If you're a nature lover the direct vicinity of this beautifully restored home is perfect. And Thierry is a wonderful host!

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Umgebung

Das Haus ist sehr schön und entsprach den Bildern der Webseite. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich eine Toilette mit Waschbecken sowie die Küche mit Esstisch und ein Wohnzimmer. Dazu gibt es im Erdgeschoss noch ein Schlafzimmer. Im oberen Stock gibt es zwei weitere Schlafzimmer und ein großes Bad. Generell ist das Haus recht groß und es gab genügend Platz für alles. Positiv ist auch, dass der Vermieter einige Spülmaschinentabs und andere nützliche Dinge bereitgestellt hat. Wenige Meter vom Haus ist ein sehr gute Bäckerei gelegen, zu dieser sind wir morgens immer gerne gegangen. Ansonsten ist in der direkten Umgebung des Hauses nicht viel zu erleben. Es liegt in einem ruhigen Ort und bietet gute Möglichkeiten zum abschalten. Um Einzukaufen fährt man circa 15 Minuten zum nächsten Supermarkt. Auch kommt man innerhalb von 30 bis 60 Minuten in viele andere schöne Orte und Städte, wie Luxemburg, Longwy, Verdun und Metz, sodass es in der weiteren Umgebung einiges zu tun gibt. Der Vermieter wohnt nebenan und konnte uns bei allen Fragen schnell und gut Helfen. Die Kommunikation hat auf Englisch problemlos funktioniert. Insgesamt hat uns der Urlaub in dem Haus sehr gut gefallen und wir können es bestens weiterempfehlen.
