Discover idyllic farmhouse living in this authentic Provençal Mas nestle in Castelnau Valence, France, close to the lovely town of Uzès, 20 minutes from Nîmes, less than 1 hour from Montpellier and the beach.

Built in 1853, this elegant residence perfectly combines old-world charm with modern luxury to create an abode that is as stylish and unique as it is comfortable and inviting.

Beige stone walls, a terracotta tile roof and original fireplaces are paired with a contemporary colour scheme and glittering chandeliers to ensure an inviting aesthetic. The five bathrooms have all been updated and there is a gourmet kitchen for the home chef with a host of modern appliances.

When it’s time to relax, you are spoilt for choice with numerous living spaces, both inside and out. A pool room and living room with a fireplace await, along with a wonderful dining room set under a pendant light and rustic beamed ceiling. You can also retire to any one of the six beautiful bedrooms including the grand owner’s suite.

Outside, your mornings will be spent wandering along the paths that wind through the thriving gardens or you can host friends under the shade of the trees in the courtyard. There is a barbecue and built-in stone bread oven and a fountain that provides a soothing soundtrack to your summertime entertaining.

A sparkling 11x7m pool awaits, offering the perfect place to relax on those hot summer days. You can lounge poolside and soak up the sunshine or enjoy a glass of wine under the cover of the alfresco. Views of the neighboring medieval castle are also on offer from this spectacular residence.

Nous avons apprécié fortement les bâtiments, les chambres, le beau jardin, la cuisine toute équipée et la cuisine d'été à l'extérieur près de la piscine avec réfrigérateur ,congélateur et vaisselle disponilble etc . etc Beaucoup de jeux disponibles pour les enfants . Tout était parfait. Nous avons apprécié aussi le guide très complet que Marine avait préparé avec toutes les informatins concernant les magasins, boulangerie etc dans les environs et les sites touristiques.

fantastic

I did not expect such a lovely place in our holidays. We enjoyed very much the old building, the rooms, the wonderful furnishing and the tasteful decoration. Also the outdoor area is fantastic including the big pool as well as the Mediterranean planted garden. We were very content with the service. All this invites me to come again. Thank you very much for this lovingly created estate.
