This is an excellent place to base yourself if you’re looking around the region. There are restaurants, bars and shops of every type within the village area. The house is charming, with a relaxing terrace and garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will certainly return.
This house is perfectly located for a multitude of day trips in the area. The back garden with its large covered terrace is an oasis to be enjoyed. The neighbors and people of St cyprien are congenial and welcoming. We can recommend without reservations.
We really enjoyed our stay. The location in the village is good and there is a fantastic view over the Dordogne valley from the covered terrace. Having the BBQ was a real plus as well. The house itself was great for the 2 of us, it was clean and well provisioned. I think if there was 4 of us, the sofa seating inside would have been a bit tight. The village has the good balance of local/tourist, with good options to eat along the small high street. Would stay again.
We loved staying in this well restored stone house on the hillside. We enjoy the historical feel. Walking down to the boulangerie for fresh bread every morning, having lunch at La Taverna, and cooking a light dinner were real treats. There are so many areas to explore in this village. The nearby country roads make for great walking or bicycle riding.the central location for driving tours to various caves and other beautiful villages. It's also really easy to get to the Dordogne River for
Swimming and canoeing. The house is really comfortable to live in, The garden area is exceptional.
The property was wonderfully equipped with everything that you could wish for – except a sharp knife!! Not necessarily matching but everything.
The weather was awful (rain and cold) the house still ‘worked’
Rénovation très réussie d´une maison de village pleine de charme.
Si votre mobilité est réduite, privilégiez une autre location. Je me déplace avec des béquilles et mon trajet à pied de la voiture à la maison sur la route très pentue était un challenge quotidien.
