Beacon Surf 207 is an upscale condo within the Residences El Faro community, an exclusive beachfront resort with a suite of amenities! The apartment itself has a well-equipped, full kitchen with granite countertops, high-end finishes throughout, and plenty of space to spread out and relax. This retreat also offers free Fiber optic WiFi, perfect for remote work, streaming, and distance learning.

The complex offers an infinity pool with submerged loungers, a kid's pool, a gym, 24-hour security, and easy access to the beach. There is a massage tent available in the pool area - the prices start at $15 USD. There is also a shared laundry room.

You'll be just a few steps from Playa del Carmen's famous 5th Avenue, a popular place to check out the shops, restaurants, cultural attractions, and more. Make sure to leave plenty of time to explore the rest of the town, book a diving adventure, visit the cenotes, or check out Tulum Jaguar Park (Parque del Jaguar).

Host was not responsive as far as what we needed. Main bathroom was so gross we couldn't use it, not clean and smelled awful, we kept the door shut the entire time, dishes were dirty we had to soak most of what we were using, no beach towels provided, we had to go buy some it took 4 days to get any! Lights were out or flickering, blinds in the master were broke and stuck down the entire stay, floors dirty. Windows you could barely see out of they probably have never been washed. No lamps next to side of bed. This could be a really nice condo just needs some more work. Great location, really loud at night, and the pool, beach and front desk staff awesome. Will not stay in this unit ever again but will stay in other units in the complex.

Check in was great. Friendly staff. Apartment was spacious and clean. Limited general supplies, such as towels, kitchen supplies, such as tea towels and oven mitts. Patio door was broken and required 2 people to open. Balcony very small with no seating. Not enough pillows for 4 guests. Great location

Location, location, location!

We were displaced due to hurricane Delta. Luckily surf 207 was available on very short notice. Alberto Ramirez with Vancasa was very responsive and helpful. This is the 7th time we have stayed at El Faro, and we were again thrilled with it. The condo was beautiful, the pool is gorgeous, the location is second to none and the view is magnificent!

Place was in very bad shape. When we got there, the toilet wasn’t working, the paint in the kitchen cabinets was peeling off and the door knob for the main door kept locking us in because it didn’t work half the time. There were also ants in the living room. Worst experience yet. Do not stay here.

Amazing Ocean View apartment

The apartment gave me one of the most pleasant stays in Playa del Carmen after several years.it has an amqzing View of the ocean, close to all the nice places in town and it has everything you need to have a great time. Deferment has a nice restaurant across the street that plays music but I did not have any problem at all and actually I felt that I was getting a band show for free while I was sitting on the balcony drinking a beer or a glass of wine.I loved the swimming pool facing the ocean, it is just few steps from areas with white sand on south side one but you have to walk more to go to the famous playa mamita's which is a great spot to meet people.The only recommendation for the owner is to check the toilets because sometimes the water kept running, the security is great at the main FYI- all your visits are during the day and no one is allowed in the evening unless they are registered as guest. I will be back if the apartment is available in my next trip.Don't hesitate to book this apartmen. I think it's perfect for a couple but a third person will be difficult unless they don't mind to sleep on couch.Thank you!!!

207S is on the street side with an ocean view. The open air night club restaurant across the street has great food and service but plays SUPER loud music EVERY night, so it was impossible to fall asleep to the sound of ocean waves lapping on the shore, which is a shame because they are literally a few feet away from the condo balcony. The good part is that the view is fabulous, the location is great for tourist activities, it felt very safe, I was able to enjoy the ocean peacefully every morning and during the daylight hours from my balcony when I stayed home. No dishwasher in this unit, cabinets doors on one side of the kitchen where mostly defaced- that does not show in the pictures so that was weird, but they functioned fine. Only one of the AC units worked. The big problem for me was that VACASA requires that you email photo ID and they do not offer any type of secure upload for this. I asked for a secure upload link which they never provided but instead told me to send a photograph of my picture id or passport to private email address! They threatened to cancel my reservation if I did not do it, so I had to comply- they had my credit card number and would have charged me a huge cancelation fee. This policy is very risky for patrons who are particular about online security so beware. The pool was great but the deck going to the beach was in disrepair and roped off.

The view is stunning, the location couldn’t be better, and the pool area was awesome! We loved staying here! The staff at the El Faro Condos were amazing - they recognized and started conversations with each guest, and were so helpful! There were, however, a lot of things in the condo that were disappointing. Our host responded within 36 hours of our message that we didn’t have kitchen towels or hot pads, and only one coffee mug. Small general maintenance issues included: oven falling out of its space, microwave falling off its shelf, toilet tank cracked, the kitchen faucet sprayed half into the counter when used, the blinds that would not go higher than waist high in the bedroom, and consistent construction noise on the floor every day for at least 3 hours. We enjoyed the live music next door every night, except for a few nights that go really late or loud. Most of the time, it’s not audible in the bedroom.Please understand - we LOVED our stay, and this condo is amazing! We just were disappointed with the maintenance of it. Carina, Paco and the daytime and night security were truly fantastic! Thank you!!

El apartamento es amplio y cómodo. La piscina y playa son bonitas. Está en buenas condiciones. NO HAY INTERNET y no se molestaron en resolverlo. Hay gotera en el lavamanos, hay música toda la noche de los bares, cuesta mucho abrir la puerta del balcón, se ve desde afuera hacia el apartamento y NO hay parqueo. Cobran aparte $15 por noche.

Don't rent this property. It's very rundown, no cleaning service, it's located next to a bar with live bands, and getting to sleep before 2am is impossible. No patio furniture.

We absolutely love the proximity to the ocean, view of the beach from the balcony, and the relaxation of the condominium itself. It was very well kept and private. There is a lot of nightlife in and around this condo so as long as that activity and some of the residual noise doesn’t bother you that it is a perfect place to stay.

Nice size unit and clean. There was a weird smell for the first couple days but it worked it way out. The cabinet doors are in pretty bad shape from the salty air but everything is in working order. This unit is on the street side of the complex though. I did not realize that when booking, totally my fault. Balcony is small and noisy at night being right over top of Zenzi’s. The pool area need a lot more chairs! I heard they have plenty but are keeping some in storage due to Covid restrictions. If you need anything see Josie at reception! She is the BEST!!!! Going back in March 2022 but trying a different unit. Love the location!!! sargassum destroyed any hopes of being on the beach this time. Also nobody seems to ever mention the stench rolling off that stuff!!!!

Great view, spacious and on the beach. The pool was great and the gym was better than I expected. Good location 1 1/2 blocks from fifth avenue and 6 blocks from the ferry. The night club across the street was loud until midnight and locals congregated outside our window and partied until 7;00 AM. The property manager refused to be involved when our electricity stopped working. We had to call company that brokered the rental. Unacceptable. It’s too bad because it is a nice unit with two baths but I would not recommend it to others

A beautiful trip, a place from where you can go out to meet many others, with a wonderful culture!

The location is excellent, it is very close to everything, four blocks from Walt Mart, one block from the pedestrian street, in front and by the beach there is a very nice bar-restaurant where you can eat well and have drinks, accompanied by live shows with very good music.

Oceanfront Corner Condo with lovely view in a clean quite building, great kitchen and dining area, big screen smart tvs, fast wifi, comfortable bed, great shower with plenty of hot water! The only noise is from the street and fun beach club nearby, Playa is vibrant and alive and we expect the sounds of Mexico. Our host Alberto, Pool staff, Security and Front Desk staff are all super helpful and professional. We WILL be back!
