About this property

Spectacular views and easy access to Fly Fishing on the Madison River

Step out the front door and be on the world-premier fly fishing Madison River. Fish when you want, catch the evening hatch while you enjoy antelope and deer grazing nearby.

Every guest who has visited has marveled at the beauty of the surrounding area and the comforts and first-class conditions of the living space. This is our home which we open up to you as you enjoy the beauty of Montana and the great Madison River. Check us out for your winter snowmobling and skiing vacation. It will be an adventure!

Winter at our place is a special time of year..even if you have to snowmobile into the property. Soft snow, cold nights, a warm fire and plenty of winter sports...including fly fishing is available to you here.

Winter is coming, think about a week of Winter fun cross-country skiing, downhill skiing at Big Sky or just enjoying over 1,000 miles of snowmobile trails within a short drive of the property.

Our lodge has 3 bedrooms ( two with queen size beds and 1 with 2 twin beds). There is also a queen size bed in the loft. There are 2 full baths, a great room with a river rock fireplace, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, a deck with a gas barbecue grill and a covered front porch. We do have an outside firepit.

Yellowstone Vacation
Incredible. If you want to be away from it all, but explore Yellowstone, horseback ride, walk trails, fish, check out geysers and springs, this is a great place. The owners are awesome!

The whole family really enjoyed our stay, the kids really loved it. Dave and Diana were super friendly. The cabin and the location are exactly what I think of when someone says “Montana”.

Beautiful area, on the Upper Madison River.
Very nice accommodations. David and Diana were very gracious host. It is reasonably close to Yellowstone and Ennis, a 1 and 1/2 from Bozeman. Some of the best trout fishing in the country! Loved this VRBO

Host profile image
Diana is a retired cardiac nurse and has always enjoyed being around people.
David is a consultant and is now Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity of Gallatine Valley.
Both of us have always enjoyed the outdoors and have traveled west for many of our vacations. We decided, once we retired, that here in Montana is where we will make our home and run a Guest Lodge. Best decision we have made.

Why they chose this property

The property encompasses all of our dreams of owning a log home on 20 or more acres, with the Madison River in front of our home and close to Yellowstone National Park.
Ideal for fishermen, tourists, and family reunions.
