VILLA IN THE COUNTRY WITH A LARGE POOL, on a large plot, near Aix en Provence, between the creeks of Cassis and Haute Provence.

Gardanne is located in the heart of Provence and enjoys an exceptional location. This house is located 10 minutes south of Aix en Provence and 15 minutes from Sainte Victoire where you can practice hiking, cycling or picnicking.

The location is perfect for visiting the French Riviera, the Luberon, the Gorges du Verdon and the Camargue. The creeks of Cassis and the blue coast are 30 minutes away.
In the countryside, this house is located on a large plot of 6000m2 with a large swimming pool sheltered from the wind. Its location allows you to go on foot for walks in the Montaiguet forest massif.

Facing south, the villa is a pleasant family holiday home for up to 6 people.

A large living room of 60 m2, fitted with bay windows, overlooks 2 covered terraces to the south and north. The north terrace, which stays cool in summer, is equipped with a large table and 8 quality teak chairs. A plancha is at your disposal.

The modern kitchen is fitted with high-end household appliances.

The sleeping area on the ½ floor is made up of 3 bedrooms.

The first bedroom is equipped with a 180x200 bed.

A second bedroom is equipped with a 140x190 bed.

A third bedroom is equipped with 2 80X200 pull-out beds that can be separated or joined, at your convenience.
The recent bedding is of good quality and comfortable.

A large bathroom has a bathtub and a walk-in shower.

Separate WC.

The mezzanine located above the living room has a convertible and comfortable sofa that can accommodate 2 beds.

A beautiful and large swimming pool with flat bottom, dimensions in meters (8. 4 X 4. 3 X H 1.5) will welcome you for pleasant moments of relaxation and freshness. Extensive beaches surrounding this pool are equipped with sun loungers. A 30M2 adjoining pool enclosure is equipped with a garden furniture set comprising several sofas and coffee tables.

The water treatment of this pool is ensured by a fully automatic salt treatment. A robot is at your disposal, in case of cleaning necessary.

A pingpong table is at your disposal.

The pool is maintained by us at the weekend.

We provide sheets, towels, bath mats and tea towels.

Housekeeping is optional.

The house was perfect. It was like living in a dream. Everything we could have needed was provided for. It was clean, an ideal setting in the country, and easy to get to other places from. We look forward to returning here at some time in the future. The host was informative and responsive.

A very comfortable villa with a real feeling of seclusion. The Hosts made us feel very welcome despite the language barrier, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Gardanne, the nearest town, isn’t really set up for tourism but Aix-En-Provence is only 15 minutes by car and is a beautiful place with many good restaurants and cafes. Marseille is OK too, while Cassis on the coast is a lovely fishing village well worth a visit.The villa itself is very tastefully furnished and well equipped. We would happily go back.

Beautiful house, spacious with wonderful pool area

The house was really nice. Spacious, fully equipped with everything you could wish for. Nice patio outside,with barbecue possibility,wonderful pool area with shade and great salt water pool. Especially nice with children,you can safely close the door to the pool with a special carabiner hook. A trampoline and swing is also there,which was nice for the kids. Being 5 mins outside of Gardanne it is pretty quiet all around. It was only unfortunate,that the Wlan did not work. House owners tried to get a quick repair,but seemed something was wrong in all the area and ultimately the last days we got a 4G key. Thank you for the wonderful stay and we would love to be back.

Beautiful villa, fabulous pool area

Thank you! We had a fantastic week and would recommend. The house is lovely- spacious, tasteful, clean, up to date. Kitchen is very well equipped. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Easy drive to Aix (15mins), 5 mins to supermarkets, and many other places of interest nearby. Outdoor space is huge. Garden has section partitioned (fenced) off for pool area (although a determined child could find a way in, but you have the option of covering the pool too). Behind the house is a big field with swings and trampoline too. We also enjoyed ping pong and pétanque! The jewel in the crown for us was the pool and pool area. Firstly, a salt water pool is so pleasant compared to chlorine. Secondly, the pool house offers plenty of shade and seating. A fantastic place to relax. Thirdly, still a big grass area in pool area for children to run around. The owner is very nice and communicated well during booking etc. We didn’t need to contact for anything but he texted to check all was ok after a huge storm, and to clarify departure arrangements. Two pieces of constructive feedback. 1. WiFi signal is weak, so streaming on multiple devices isn’t possible. 2. I have never understood optional cleaning fee (granted, this is stated in the description). I would expect the villa to be cleaned professionally before my arrival (which it appeared to have been) not just by previous clients. And if you choose not to pay it, it is ambiguous what standard is required. Easier to include in overall price in my opinion.

hello susannah, thank you for your comments that make us happy. The problem of slowness of the internet connection by the wifi will be soon settled with the arrival of the fiber. Regarding the final cleaning, speaking only very bad English, we probably misunderstood. In fact, it is very simple: either the tenant returns the house in the state of cleanliness or he found it, or one appeals to a team of professional at the price of 80 €. De ontvangst was zeer hartelijk, hele fijne en lieve mensen.Het huis en de tuin lagen er piekfijn bij. Het huis is met smaak ingericht en is echt een pareltje. In het dorp zelf moet je echt niet zijn, gelukkig was het maar een paar minuutjes rijden van Aix en Provence! Werd vermeld door de eigenaar.Helaas klopt de info op de nederlandse website niet. Er stond dat er airco aanwezig was, dat was niet het geval. Hadden wel ventilatoren tot onzer beschikking, maar daarmee koel je geen huis af. Er stond op de website dat er een bubbelbad is, maar die functie was uitgeschakeld. Hierover hebben we met de eigenaar gecommuniceerd, volgens hem staat het op de franse website wel correct vermeld. Het water van het zwembad was net te koud om aangenaam te zwemmen. Ondanks het hete weer werd het water niet warmer. Ook de zwembadverlichting konden we niet aanzetten. En helaas zagen we buiten in de tuin op de koeltoren en de uitlaatpijp van een kerncentrale. Deze zie je niet op de foto's op de website, is met photoshop weggewerkt. Wij hebben ondanks al deze punten wel genoten van ons verblijf, al vinden we de prijs dan wel aan de hoge kant aangezien de info op de website niet klopt.Ik wil wel nogmaals bedrukken dat de eigenaars zeer vriendelijke mensen zijn.

suite à votre avis, j'ai consulté un opérateur Abritel qui m'a confirmé que sur les versions étrangères la traduction de la description des équipements de la maison n'était pas mise à jour. L'annonce mentionnait une climatisation sans préciser que ce n'était qu'un rafraichissement par le sol. J'en suis désolé mais cette erreur est involontaire de ma part. Pour remédier à ce problème et le site ABRITEL ne rafraichissant pas la traduction Francaise, j'ai supprimé l'équipement climatisation sur l'annonce afin d'éviter de nouveau cette erreur et prévoit pour l'année 2026 d'installer une véritable climatisation. Concernant le bout de cheminée que l'on voit depuis le jardin, cette cheminée située à quelques kilomètres est d'une centrale thermique à L'ARRET depuis quelques années et non pas une centrale nucléaire. Tolles Haus zum entspannen

Wir waren zu fünft in dieser tollen Villa mit Pool. Unsere Kinder hatten Spaß am Pool, am Trampolin (Entgegen der Bilder hat es ein Netz). Zudem ist eine Tischtennisplatte und eine Schaukel mit kleinem Klettergerüst vorhanden. Ggf. Ball und Wasserspielzeug selbst mitbringen. Alles ist wirklich sehr gepflegt und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Haus ist über eine Bodenkühlung klimatisiert, was sehr angenehm ist, da es keine herkömmliche Klimaanlage ist. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt für Ausflüge sowohl in die Berge / Schluchten, als auch ans Meer. Wir danken Alain und seiner Familie für die tolle Zeit und Ihre Herzlichkeit.

Séjour très agréable à Gardanne

Nous avons passé 10 jours dans cette magnifique villa. Nous y avons particulièrement apprécié le cadre ainsi que les extérieurs, où nous avons passé beaucoup de temps à l'ombre avec nos enfants. Alain et sa femme ont été très disponibles et bienveillants, ce qui est un véritable plus. Enfin, la maison est très bien équipée et décorée avec goût. Nous n'avons manqué de rien.

Très beau cadre dans une très jolie maison

Nous avons passé une semaine entre amis dans cette superbe maison, très agréable, et très bien équipée. Tout est réunit pour passer de bonnes vacances. La gare de Gardanne n'étant pas loin, il est possible de trouver des alternatives à la voiture si besoin. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et disponibles. Je recommande à 100%

Villa pour calme et farniente

Villa exceptionnelle, plus que conforme à nos attentes - les propriétaires sont d'une gentillesse, à vous mettre à l'aise rapidement..pour famille avec enfants ou petits enfants (comme notre cas), c'est le paradis....espace de terrain, jeux et sécurité de la piscine...que du vrai bonheur...merci pour tout, je le répète, un vrai bonheur
