CHALETS PLEIN BOIS – LE HUARD is a four-season peaceful retreat located on the shores of beautiful Lake Sainte-Rose in Mandeville, in the Lanaudière region. Just 1 hour and 30 minutes from Montreal, this warm, wood-dominant chalet invites you to an immersive nature escape.

Ideal for couples, families, groups of friends, remote work stays, or even small teams seeking a productive and rejuvenating “lake-at-your-doorstep” experience. The chalet is perfectly suited for both short stays and extended getaways.

The large, swimmable lake is nestled among the mountains, offering breathtaking scenery and spectacular seasonal colors: vibrant fall foliage, snowy winter landscapes, romantic spring mist, and refreshing summer swims. From the property, you have direct access to a private sandy beach and a floating dock with ladder.

Inside, the chalet radiates warmth and serenity. Entirely built of wood, it offers an inviting and authentic atmosphere. Large windows provide stunning lake views from almost every room.

Nous étions une famille ( 2 adultes, 1 enfant de 3 ans et demi, 1 bébé de 8 mois) avec 2 grands-parents et 2 chiens.Nous avons adoré le chalet, la véranda pour se cacher des mouches tannantes, la vue sur le lac et les montagnes, la petite plage (où mon enfant a pu jouer dans le sable), la disposition du pédalo/ kayaks/ paddleboard, le foyer extérieur, le coin repos dans le haut de la cour, avec les chaises et la balançoire (parfait pour prendre son café matinal tranquille). Les propriétaires étaient au chalet à côté, donc, pratique lorsque nous avons manqué de courant, ils sont venus partir/éteindre la génératrice.Overall, nous avons adoré notre séjour :)

Le chalet est très bien équipé, donnant sur le lac Ste-Rose et à proximité de plusieurs sentiers. Nous avons apprécié la tranquillité des lieux, le confort des pièces et la grande propreté. Autre petit plus, les proprios sont dans la maison d’à côté, prêts à dépanner au besoin. Très beau séjour, nous reviendrons.

Spacieux, propre et avec une vue magnifique

Le chalet contient tout le nécessaire, il est très propre et très bien entretenu. Literie et serviettes comme à l'hôtel. Les proprios sont dans le chalet voisin et disponibles en cas de pépin, comme une panne d'électricité! Situé sur un petit lac tranquille avec une vue sur les montagnes. Vraiment wow!

Très beau chalet, 4 chambres Queen. Parfait pour accomoder 6 adultes et 2 enfants de 9 mois et 2.5 ans !! Pédalo et Kayak Inclus, avec BEAUCOUP de petites perchaudes, beau trip pour le kid, j'en ai eu une vingtaine en 3 sorties de pédalo de 30 minutes chaque ! Pas de grosse pêche par contre, donc pour les amateurs de pêche (comme moi, vous serez déçu de ceci). Hôtes très disponibles et très accessible car sont dans le chalet voisin, alors peu importe le souci, ils sont là pour aider ! Fortement recommandé et possiblement qu'on y reviendra !

Des vacances à la vue formidable mais des propriétaires scandaleux.

Nous sommes arrivés le 21 Février et sommes resté jusqu'au 27. Les dîtes propriétaires n'ont en aucun cas fait visites des lieux, expliqué les règlements et ils ont été d'une extrême arrogance envers nous. Ils nous ont harcelé maintes fois, ce fut désagréable ! L'environnement est beau, l'intérieur est confortable, la vue est splendides. Aucun réseau internet, aucun réseau cellulaire, nous pouvons appelez personne. Nous avons manqué d'électricité pendant 28 heures et lorsque nous avions appelez les propriétaires pour connaître les détails, ils nous ont simplement dit de sortir dehors parce que de toute façons ils allaient rien faire. Sachant que le chalet n'est pas isolé et que le foyer ne procurent à peine de chaleur. Nous avions peur pour la sécurité de nos animaux En bref, n'y songez même pas et par ailleurs, n'y booké pas vos séjours. Allez ailleurs où ce sera moins chère et plus magique. La seule épicerie la plus proche est à 35 minutes et la station services est à 30 minutes.

Petit bijou dans Lanaudière

Chalet très propre et accueillant, compact mais très bien équipé et décoré avec goût pour la période des fêtes.. Le lac s'est transformé en immense patinoire et l'accès à une glissade à proximité du terrain nous a offert plusieurs heures de plaisir.. La proximité avec la Zec des Nymphes nous a permis de faire de belles randonnées en forêt. Séjour apprécié de tous! Merci pour votre hospitalité et votre disponibilité.

Owners were helpful and always accessible. Cottage was smaller than the pictures depicted but the weather was great so we were outside on the beach all day anyways. Well equipped cottage with everything you need kitchen wise. We were very thankful there was an air conditioner installed upon our arrival to our surprise.
