About this property

ESPLANADE BEACH SUITE

Enjoy unobstructed panoramic ocean views from our brand new waterfront, two bedroom, two bathroom, beach suite. Step out onto the Esplanade and indulge yourself in long walks on Willows Beach, Oak Bay's only white sand beach and the finest beach in all of Greater Victoria.

Cindy and I are passionate about developing unique waterfront properties and creating memorable vacation experiences for our guests. You can find reviews for our other waterfront property at VRBO Shawnigan Lake #720196.

Our Esplanade renovation was completed in December 2018 and boasts a 1400 square foot ground-level suite with a full custom kitchen, including stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and under cabinet lighting. The master bedroom includes a king size bed with a three-piece ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom includes two single beds. The main three-piece bathroom includes a full-sized tub. Other amenities include a gas fireplace in the living room, heated tiled floors in the bathrooms, and a separate washer and dryer. We pride ourselves on providing an impeccably clean suite for our guests.

Our Esplanade Beach Suite is located on the waterfront in the exclusive township of Oak Bay, and is just a seven minute drive to downtown Victoria. We are only minutes away from waterfront dining at the Marina Restaurant, the Penny Farthing Pub in Oak Bay Village, the Village Restaurant in Estevan Village, an amazing children's park on Willows Beach, and two world class golf courses.

Cindy and I live on the upper floor of the house, and are available to answer questions and make suggestions to ensure that your needs are met during your stay.

Parking and high speed internet access included. Maximum four occupants. No smoking and no pets.

***Jun-Aug, minimum 3 night stay

Short ‘n sweet

Our stay was only three nights but it was exactly what we were looking for. A lovely spot across a quiet street from Willows Beach where we could relax in the beauty of Victoria’s Oak Bay community. We’re already planning our next stay.

Family Vacation

We stayed at the Beach Suite for 4 nights. The space is much bigger than it looks like in photos. It was very clean and welcoming. I only gave it 4 starts for location as it was quite a trek to downtown Victoria with all of the traffic. We were heading down there for dinners so we were out during rush hour. There is a full kitchen if you would rather cook your meals.

Comfortable stay

Very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Great location. We dont watch tv much, but we stayed for 3 weeks in the rain, so would've liked more cable channels or comcast or an hdmi port to watch from our laptop

The view of Oak Bay was breathtaking ! Easy access to any where in Victoria and surrounding area. Daily walks along the bay was very relaxing.

Perfect Victoria Stay - Highly Recommended

This is the ideal Victoria Stay with everything within easy reach. The neighbourhood is walkable with cafes and restaurants nearby, and beech access right out your door. Cindy and Colin have very accurately represented the space, so there won't be any surprises. We will certainly rebook whenever we're back in Victoria visiting our family. Exceptionally clean, and very well-appointed. If I could give it six stars, I would!

Great location and comfortable accommodation.

We had a lovely stay and especially enjoyed walking on the beach which is right across the street. The unit is very clean and comfortable. We didn't do much cooking but the kitchen seemed well equipped. We would stay here again the next time we come to Victoria.The only negative was that we arrived after dark and there was no light over the stairs down to the front door and the door. If it weren't for the flashlight on our iphones, we wouldn't have been able to enter the combination for the lock.

Amazing house in a beautiful area of Victoria.

Our rental was amazing, had everything we needed and the hosts were wonderful. So nice to walk along the beach, very quiet street, very little traffic. We had an amazing visit with our family. This property was spotless and Oak Bay is a very friendly area. I would love to come back in the summer.

Beautiful location

The suite was clean and modern. A bit stark, but once we figured out the baseboard heat and fireplace, it was more cozy. The views are fantastic. The king bed in the main bedroom is long past its best-before date - sags uncomfortably and the pillows need replacing. We enjoyed exploring Oak Bay from this location!

Great location and everything you need

This was an awesome stay for us. Amazing location and views. Very nice owners and good communication. The space has everything you need and is very well appointed. It’s a bit small, but that’s to be expected for a downstairs suite. There is a good deal of noise from above, so if you have issues with hearing lots of footsteps and commotion upstairs, I would recommend not staying in a downstairs suite, but for us it didn’t detract too much from the stay.

Great property. Lovely location. I could sit for hours watching the seals and sea otters play in the harbor in front of the property. Very relaxing. Fairly close to downtown restaurants and attractions. The owners were very responsive and helpful with our stay.

Our 3-night stay was fantastic. It was so great to be across the street from the beach and within walking distance to some wonderful restaurants and shops. The unit itself was very clean and spacious. Colin and Cindy were great hosts and the communication level was just right. Would totally stay here again!
