Welcome to the Salt Air Cottage! This fabulous 4 bedroom / 3 bathroom island home has recently been completely renovated with a brand new heated pool in 2023. Located in a great south island location, this home is minutes to the beaches, restaurants and shopping on St. Simons Island. All new furnishings compliment the renovation inviting guests to a comfortable place to call home while visiting St. Simons Island. The gourmet kitchen features high end appliances and opens to a spacious living area with access to a charming patio with firepit. The dining table offers seating for 6 and there is room for 3 at the island bar in the adjacent kitchen.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount of $40/night is included in each reservation. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and even experiences with select vendors! – the choice is yours!

Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (8 persons). Events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc. are not permitted.

The large private patio off of the living area is the perfect place to grill your fresh catch or favorites on the gas grill. The patio also includes a sitting area and a dining table for guests to enjoy dining al fresco! The patio space is surrounded by a wonderful planting area as well as a huge grassy backyard area for kids to play. Around the back of the house is the large heated pool (available to be heated for $45/day) with a large sun shelf.

The large primary bedroom suite with King bed has a private en suite bathroom with a double vanity and large closet. The two guest bedrooms have Queen beds, and 4th bedroom sets up as a separate living space with a daybed that can convert to a King bed. There is a hall bath with a tub/shower as well as another en suite full bathroom off of the back bedroom.

The Salt Air Cottage is perfectly situated under the live oaks on the south end of St. Simons Island and is ready for guests to enjoy everything that island life has to offer!
