Our peaceful Lake House Lazy Day Haven is a licensed tourist home with the Town of Sylvan Lake. It's located 1/2 block from the beach, children's park, restaurants and pubs. It has a main and separate lower suite perfect for families to be together and yet everyone have their own space. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 upstairs and 1 down, with a futon in the lower suite. We have 3 full bath, 2 upstairs and 1 down. 2 fully equipped kitchens, and laundry. Enjoy the fire bit, bbq, and patio furniture while outdoors.

We had a wonderful stay! So close to the lake and the main beach drive. Walkable to all kinds of adventures for people of all ages. A great spot for family gatherings or a cozy quiet getaway.

Great beach

Lovely home with well-equipped kitchen and 3 full baths. Surprise extra kitchen in the lower level! Fire pit and large deck for outside living. Very close to the beach and large playground. It worked well for our multigenerational family.

The week went by so fast and we were all sad to leave. Having the extra bedroom in the basement as well as the large space gave our teenagers freedom to entertain themselves without the parents complaining about the noise. Top of the list of family moments were the beach and the Moo just around the corner and fishing along the peer. Alas! no catch. The house has every supplies needed. We just walked in and started to enjoy our stay. Hoping to come back next year.We had a few evenings around the fire-place as well and a great time when we hired boat.We are hoping to be back next year

Family stay

Stayed here with family for our daughters wedding. Spacious and clean with ample parking space. Kitchen well stocked and nice to have 3 full bathrooms. High recommend this property to stay at. Great location to downtown Sylvan Lake

At the Lake Again

This was the perfect place for Sisters to gather and enjoy being at the lake again!! The home is roomy, comfortable, clean and a great location to the beach and amenities! Tara is easy to get a hold of and very accommodating. Will definitely consider this property if we’re able to do this again!

Great place in Sylvan Lake

This is a wonderful place for a couple (or 2 couples) or family. It is in a great location in Sylvan lake, just a block from the beach and boardwalk. There are lots of restaurants close by. We spent time skating on the lake and taking walks along the lake. The house is stocked with everything you could need and more. The kitchen has all you need for cooking and baking if you want. It is clean and nicely decorated, making it feel like being at home but more relaxing. Tara responds to any questions quickly. She adds nice touches like a welcome gift basket with some goodies, keurig coffee and tea pods, and some basic cooking things like oil, spices, sugar, etc that a lot of places don't have. Also we have stayed at a lot of VRBO's and most don't have things like saran wrap, foil, plastic bags and tupperware, but Tara has all of those included. Also having a BBQ and fire pit were bonuses. It is wonderful to come to a place and be able to settle right in with all that you need, instead of having to go shopping for all the things missing. Thanks Tara. We will definitely be back.

Property worked well for our family gathering for Thanksgiving weekend! One little glitch was, I didn’t expect stairs on the main floor which was a little difficult for mobility challenged! We were able to deal with it and had a great weekend!

Tara was a great host. The home was clean and as advertised. We were a family group, grandparents, adults and kids. This was a great place for family time all together and enough room for the kids and adults to play separately. Able to walk to the beach easily. Had a wonderful time.

We enjoyed our stay at Lazy Day Haven! The highlights for us were:- lots of space for 4 kids and 8 adults- closeness to the beach was awesome- lots of parking- all the amenities we needed Highly recommend this property!

Fantastic family getaway for a wedding

Property was conveniently located by Sylvan Lake and lots of amenities near by.The house comfortably slept 7 people and could sleep 9.The host was tremendous in quickly responding to any of our questions and provided easy check in and check out.Our family would recommend this vacation home anytime.

Blissfully Exhausting

This past week at Tara's "cabin" was our second annual experience for our family which included two grandparents, four parents and four kids. Sylvan offers much to do and we tried it all: mini golf, go karts (most popular), the Widget, sitting on the beach, BBQing, walks, working out, x box (brought with us) and sitting by the firepit. Lazy Day Haven provided the base from where to operate and,given it's close proximity to downtown ( 1/2 block from ice cream: More Moo)and the beach, some of us tried different things at the same time. Great for a family holiday!!
