Seaside Loft getaway for friends and family at the Park Avenue Lofts. Also a great romantic and quiet getaway in Historic Downtown Freeport, near the Freeport marina and beach. Ask us about our Beach -Marina Packages which include beach bonfire with smores and more, or sunset and wine sailing charters, and fishing charters. Something for everyone and every weekend by the beach..

The Park Avenue Lofts are the only true lofts with quick access to the beaches and marina of Freeport. It is located in the Historic District of Freeport. What makes it unique is the sleepy seaside town atmosphere coupled with the cool coastal winds flowing by while you enjoy either a good book or refreshing beverage on the footsteps of the Bank Building. With the City of Freeport's Memorial Park Plaza fronting the bank building, guests can enjoy the tropical landscaping ambiance and the water pad fountains to cool off during the summer.

Getting around
Public Transportation - the city trolley - runs throughout the day in front of the bank building. Maps of the routes and schedule of the trolley can be found on the City of Freeport Website, (Website hidden by Airbnb)
Guests can bring their own bicycles or use the ones provided to cruise over to the marina and Old Brazos River and grab a bite at the local cafe's or catch some fish and have it prepared at Captain Ken's Marina Bar.

Awesome Stay!

Our stay was for family during our wedding! It was a great place. We visited them in their place and had a great time! Jeff is an awesome host! Highly recommended! Exceptional!!

I did not stay at this property

I wanted to stay here but I was told by the owner it wasn't available. He tried to move us but we have a foster child and a shared room is not allowed. I was charged anyway. Please refund my money. We stayed somewhere else that had proper accommodations for our situation. I am disappointed that we were still charged and not for the home he would have put us in. I've read his reviews and apparently this is common. I would like my money back. Reporting this as fraud if I don't receive it tomorrow. I can't give this less then 1 star so this is my rating. Thanks.

Nice old town place to stay.

Everything about this place was perfectly on point for the price point. We had a great time staying in Freeport and visiting the beaches close by. On complaint is the air conditioning is not up to par for the size of the loft currently. I would expect that they will soon do something about that as it looks as though there have been recent upgrades and some remodeling. I would definitely return to this rental between November and February. But probably not for summer Overall it was a good vacation spot to stay.

Cheap price, great location close to the beach.

Very cheap price and close to the water which is what we were looking for on a budget for a quick trip to the beach. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Two pieces that we were not impressed with at all were 1. The beds, very hard, uncomfortable, noisy and just really outdated!!! And 2. The WiFi wasn’t working for us- I read reviews before we booked and I saw this was an issue in the past. The host responded back promptly regarding a fix to it but it didn’t work for us still- we left it alone because by then it was bedtime and it wasn’t a big deal. Host was great & responsive; and the place was clean and nice- downside was the awful beds and no WiFi connection.

Charming & Fun

Fun clean place. From the moment you walk the place appears fun and cozy. Foosball table and dart board were a hit with my daughter. Only hiccup experience was that website description noted the incorrect check-in time. Please confirm check-in with property contact prior to arriving.

A lovely getaway. Beach and Chill Vacay!!

The first impression from my kids when they saw the beach house was “WOW!!” I knew I’d done good. Our host was very responsive and accommodating. Beach wasn’t far at all. We went out to eat a few times, but mainly used the kitchen. Family Dollar 7 mins away. Dominoes delivers there. I got to visit the little antique store and the owner stated that they were opening a little cafe! In fact, the downtown area will be revitalized very soon with new businesses! And on our last day there my sons enjoyed the water fountain/splash pad outside (in front of the bank building). Doing my laundry was a very welcome and unexpected perk (bring detergent!) There was a meteor shower one of the nights we were there that the host told us about. I really loved our stay and cannot wait to go again! Location was quiet and very chill. I recommend this place as your vacation rental without hesitation.

COVID Mother Daughter Escape

My little girl and I had a perfectly safe and quarantined getaway. The beach is so close we got up early and drove to watch the sun come up over the water and went back to bed. We had plenty of beach time, and the loft was the perfect setting for facials and girl movies.

Let’s start off with what was good. I like how quiet the area was n location. It was n the middle off surfside n Quintana about 10 mins to each location. The interior was really different n clean with full kitchen. A very accommodating property for a couple not a family. Now the bad. Property n pic isn’t what u get. Says 2 bedrooms it’s one open space. None of the pics area accurate. We were a family of 4 there was a twin bed where u have to climb a ladder up to which wasn’t safe for my 4 yr old was told to either bring it down or blow up inflatable mattress which I did. No washing machine as stated n bath/shower wasn’t bad but if u shower it’s hard to contain n the tub n was worried that I’ll get charged extra if the walls n floors get wet. Overall experience wasn’t too bad I just had to make it work. Was really looking forward to the property n pics n my lil girls were so excited from seeing pics. Property owner wasn’t a bad guy but also wasn’t to accommodating to my issues. The property n pics was actually around the corner so my question is did I just get false advertising? Idk but for a holiday weekend at the coast it’s hard to rebook last min. Wish I got what I seen n the few pics. Overall not too bad just felt lied too so made the experience not to delightful but we made the best of it n enjoyed our Labor Day weekend on the beach
