This modern ground-level apt has reclaimed wood accents, a kitchenette, new appliances and furniture, a luxurious shower, and comfy beds. A cozy, well-designed jumping off point for exploring Portland and its beautiful NW nature. Located right at the Dekum triangle restaurants and shops including Breakside Brewery, Firehouse restaurant, Woodlawn Coffee & Pastry, 10 mins to airport, 15 to downtown, 5 to Alberta Arts, and an easy drive to the Columbia River Gorge or Mt Hood. Great for couples, adventurers, and business people. All are welcome here.
The Space:
The daylight basement apartment of our 1890 historic Victorian home has a private entrance. Large reclaimed wood trimmed windows look out onto the garden, making this private and cozy space feel open and inviting. Our family lives upstairs, so we are available if needed, but completely give you your space if not. The bedroom has a very comfortable queen-sized bed and a large closet. The stunning kitchen with a full wall of reclaimed wood has a dining nook with seating for four, white quartz countertops, open shelving, and includes all new appliances including a powerful hot plate/cookwear, microwave, toaster oven, coffee machine, and electric kettle. The living room includes a new large L-shaped couch that pulls out to a firm queen bed. The bathroom has a spacious upscale shower and finishes. Each room has its own separately controlled heat. Enter the apartment through your own, separate side yard garden and enjoy your stay!
