A sense of history with modern convenience.

My hostess was very helpful even though we had to navigate the language barrier. Her daughter was brought in as a telephone translator to help with small difficulties (TV operation etc)! The facilities and kitchen equipment were adequate and there was plenty of hot water. The heating meant I enjoyed the snow fall and the squirrel who came looking for food. (He doesn't like peanuts in the shell, but enjoys bacon rind). My double bed was comfortable and there were extra blankets for all beds if required. The 2 singles looked as though they would be best for children and not hefty adults. The town is a slice of history and is serene and calm, but offers minimal food options especially in the winter. A good supermarket is not far away. I hope to stay again soon.

Peyrusse-le-roc est un beau village, la maison est pratique, très propre, tout y est - pas de wifi, mais bonne réception 4G - le jardin et la terrasse, le silence : fantastique! La propriétaire est une dame chaleureuse qui nous a donné de nombreux conseils utiles.
