About this property

The gardens of the beak - A charming country cottage

In the hollow of the valley ganzeville three villages follow one another:
Daubeuf-Serville, Bec de Mortagne and Ganzeville.
It is there that we decided 10 years ago to restore a former rectory of the seventeenth century.
The ground floor awaits you overlooking a lawn and the Ganzeville Valley. The gardens of the beak are the product of the work of Brigitte and Christian that shaped them from communal wastelands.
10 years later, the gardens occupy almost all of 4000 m² with the exception of a left wilderness where birds nest ...
The cottage is fully equipped, new and very comfortable.
Located 10 minutes from Fécamp, 20 min from Etretat, 30 min 45 min from Le Havre and Rouen, discover the Pays de Caux in peace.

Un beau jardin avec de nombreuses possibilités de détente

Il n'y a pas de mots ni d'images pour décrire les authentiques jardins de bec. La réalité est bien meilleure que les descriptions. Toute la famille a aimé le jardin magnifique! Les propriétaires très sympathiques habitent un ancien presbytère avec un très grand jardin. Les échanges avec les propriétaires sont très agréables et instructifs. Ils nous ont donné plein d'informations sur les restaurants et des idées d'excursions (petits villages normands et aussi de belles plages). Merci beaucoup – nous avons passé un très bon moment dans vos jardins et avons également appris à bien connaître les paysages et les cultures de la Normandie. Cela signifiait qu’il n’y avait pas assez de temps pour le jardin ou les nombreuses excursions. Bien sûr, nous aimerions revenir à un moment donné. Merci beaucoup et nous vous souhaitons une bonne santé!

Unser ester Urlaub in der Normandie

Der Aufenthalt in dem Ferienhaus war sehr schön. Wir waren sehr schnell an unseren Ausflugszielen. Vorort hatten wir eine schöne ruhige Woche. Das Haus ist ausreichend groß, es war alles sauber und gepflegt. Gerne kommen wir nochmal wieder.

Genau nach unserem Geschmack

Wir haben die Zeit in dieser Ferienwohnung sehr genossen, auch wenn das Wetter während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht so Recht mitspielte. Zwei Bäder und zwei getrennte Schlafzimmer waren perfekt. Darüber hinaus das liebevoll restaurierte Pfarrhaus, nebst dem tollen Garten, den wir nicht so recht geniessen konnten. Wir leben selbst in einem alten Bauernhaus und wissen, wieviel Arbeit in diesem Haus, aber auch im Garten steckt. Brigitte und Christian waren super Gastgeber, mit guten Ausflugs- und Restaurant Tipps. Wir bekamen frische Eier und selbst gemachte Marmelade. Wir haben diese Ferienimmobilie schon weiter empfohlen!

Wunderschönes Ambiente, sehr schöne, liebevoll eingerichtete und ausgestattete Wohnung. Sehr freundlicher Empfang und Kontakt mit den Eigentümern. Danke Christian und Brigitte. P.S. Das einzige nennenswerte Manko: Um diese Jahreszeit ist es nicht leicht, die Wohnung warm zu kriegen (vor allem das Badezimmer beim großen Schlafzimmer)

Tranquille and charming

The property is in the lower part of the house and faces the beautiful gardens which look out across a wooded valley with the sound of running water. Everything is exactly as described in the listing, perfect for a family of four, and well equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed our mornings in the garden and evenings by the fire. We had a wonderful few days, visiting local towns of fecamp, etretat, honfleur and saint valery en caux. We didn't get to meet the owners as they were away themselves but they checked in to make sure we were settled.

Verträumter Ort zum Entspannen

Auch dank Baguette-Automat im Ort hatten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit in der liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung von Brigitte und Christian. Das abendliche Kaminfeuer half mit zur Entspannung und der großzügige und wunderschöne Garten hätte uns bei mehr Sonne noch mehr entzückt.

Séjour très agréable

Le gîte est confortable, dans une ambiance qui donne envie de resté blotti au chaud devant un bon feu de bois, surtout quand la tempête souffle en rafales. La côte normande avec ses magnifiques falaises, est à quelques kilomètres seulement. Nous avons passé un très bon moment et l'accueil était chaleureux.

More than a pleasant stay

we were allowed to stay here for a week and a half. Everything is there, beautiful garden and lots of privacy, very nice beds. Owners very pleasant to deal with. Lovely quiet environment.

Ein traumhafter Urlaub

Es ist ein wundervoller Garten und eine sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Das von Christian und Brigitte reingesteckte Herzblut ist an vielen schönen Kleinigkeiten erkennbar. Es fehlte an Nichts und wir wurden herzlichst willkommen geheißen- auch auf Englisch ist die Kommunikation möglich. Insgesamt ein unvergesslicher Traumurlaub.

Gezellig huisje met prachtige tuin in prachtige streek

We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad in dit gezellig huisje op het gelijkvloers. We zijn heel gastvrij ontvangen met heerlijke confituur en veel tips om te doen in de omgeving. In de tuin is het leuk vertoeven met verschillende plaatsjes om te relaxen. Het is ook een heel mooie streek, op 9 km van de kust, met activiteiten voor jong en oud. Ten sterkste aan te raden voor mensen die houden van de natuur, rust en prachtige uitzichten.

Erholsamer Urlaub mit herrlicher Aussicht

Wir waren eine Woche in der wunderschönen Wohnung von Brigitte und Christian. Es ist alles vorhanden, selbst Gewürze und Öl. Die herzlichen Vermieter sind mit Tipps zur Stelle und sehr hilfsbereit. Es ist richtig idyllisch und ruhig. Der Garten ist unbeschreiblich schön. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden wiederkommen.

Ruhe und Naturnähe

Ruhe und Naturnähe in einem gut restaurierten ehemaligen Pfarrhaus. Der Hausteil liegt im Erdgeschoss und erlaubt selbständige Nutzung des weitläufigen Gartens. Küche, Bad, TV, WLAN, Heizung und ein gemütliches Kamin sind in einwandfreiem Zustand. Mit Auto (eigener Parkplatz) und Fahrrad ist von hier aus die Normandie bequem erschließbar. Die Besitzer, die im oberen Teil des Hauses wohnen, sind ausserordentlich hilfsbereit und freundlich. Rundum absolut empfehlenswert.

Geschmackvolle Wohnung in wunderschönem Garten

Sehr nette Gastgeber, die uns mit leckerer Marmelade und vielen guten Ausflugstipps versorgt haben. In der geschmackvoll eingerichteten Wohnung ist alles vorhanden. Der sehr schöne, gepflegte weitläufige Garten am Rande eines Naturschutzgebietes läd zum Ausspannen ein. Auch für frisches Baguette ist Dank eines Automaten ganz in der Nähe gesorgt. Gerne wieder.
