The Little House on the Prairie is a cute little place...quiet, comfortable, and cozy. We had a very interesting tour of the historical bank building and an enjoyable dinner at a local restaurant on Main Street.
Myself and a couple family members were in Ness City for a baby shower, this was the perfect place to stay with the location and convenience of all the amenities! The place was well furnished and super cozy. We would love to rebook in the future!

The property was as advertised. Clean. Great amenities. Communication with host was easy and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Recommend this little house to everyone!
Perfect place for us to stay with our toddler and dog for the weekend in Ness City USA. The owner was very friendly and helpful with the property. There were fixins for s'mores left for us, we unfortunately weren't able to eat them cause we were super busy. We look forward to coming again upon our next stay.
arrived on a friday afternoon about 2. stopped at a gas station to fill up my truck. as i was pumping the gas got a e-mail from the owners telling me that they had the house all ready for check in and if i wanted to check in now rather than wait till 5 i was more than welcome to do that. this was great because we were going to be there a couple of days visiting my son so we wanted to get everything unpacked so me could go meet him. really was glad for the early checkin. this place has everything almost like being at home. will stay herre again.
We enjoyed our stay at your wonderful home!
Very clean and beautiful decor. Easy self check-in a out, in a quiet neighborhood.
The special bank tour that you did for us was amazing, so much history! Brent is very friendly & knowledgeable. He and his wife are very accommodating. It was very hot in Kansas during our stay there and he made sure the air-conditioning was going to keep us cool, which it did!
Would stay here again on our way through Kansas.
Thank you!
Great little home. No need to unpack anything, they have it all. Forgot your toothbrush, they have'em. We never met the owners but they were quick to respond when I had a question. Great spot to spend a night on our was to Colorado. Thank you Brent
We stopped at this property on our way to our final destination. Their was 6 of us and we stayed comfortably in the house. Liked how all the couches, loveseat, and foot stools turned into beds for the kids. Went for a walk in the evening and everyone around was very friendly and waved. Got to see a great sunset during the walk. Would stay again if needed.

About the host

I am a lifetime resident of Ness City, Kansas I grew up here went to college in Hays, Kansas. My wife was originally from Northwest Kansas, and we have 4 children spread out over 13 years. We live across town form the location and enjoy hosting!
Why they chose this property
This home was purchased shortly after I moved back to Ness it was part of my Great Grandmothers house. The original house was moved to town from the country by my Great Grandparents. The house was then added on to and in the early 2000's the owner moved then the original house back to the country about 5 miles from its original location. I purchased the addition and converted it into a single bedroom rental property and a few years later we started hosting in this house.
