Beautiful house

We really appreciated spending a week in this beautiful house, the photos do not do it justice!. The kitchen and living are are spacious and well equiped. Splendid view of the sunset on the see.The kids really enjoyed the pool. It is well situated, 10 minutes to Palerme and 10 minutes to a local beach. Only one caviat: one of rooms upstairs does not have AC

We Love Capaci

great big house for two families to stay! We rented cars and went to Palermo, Marsala, Monreale and San Vito lo Capo! The local beach was lovely and the view was spectacular!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful villa

We were truly amazed by this charming, very spacious villa in every way. After staying in Palermo for a few days we wanted to experience the towns to the northwest and the was the perfect spot for it. The location was ideal and a short drive whether it was the airport of visiting the different towns and villages dotted along the sea. The views of the mountains and the sea at all hours were breathtaking and it was a priority to just sit and relax here. The Sisa store was a 10 minute walk/3 minute drive to grab groceries. The kitchen was well-equipped and a fun experience to make meals in. The pool was not operating when we stayed but it clearly a lovely part ofhe property. We loved meeting our goat neighbors! Can't say enough as to what a wonderful slice of life in Sicilia this villa provided us.

Great base to explore Mondello, Scopello & Cefalu

We rented this property because it was close to the airport (and we’d been travelling for 20hrs) as well as being a good base to explore Mondello, Tonnaro di Scopello & Cefalu. We had a few power / water problems but otherwise were happy with the house & the response from owners & also Nanzee the cleaner & local contact. We loved her recommendation for Rosellas (great coffee & cake) & also the local restaurant Antichi Sapori.

Unfortunately, we have been informed that the whole village of Capaci suffers from power shortage since there has been an electricity cabin defect. This caused us a problem at the house because the water pump blocked itself. We have been informed that the electricity company is working very hard to resolve the problem.

Carpaci and West Sicily

I wanted a base from which to explore North Western Sicily and this property proved to be perfect if one is in willing to drive an hour or so to see wonderful places such as Lo Zingaro. There was an issue with the hot water, quickly and efficiently rectified and it was a very beautiful and relaxing Villa.

Based on great reviews & photos listed, we booked this property during our stay in Italy and were set to check in earlier this week & were looking forward to a relaxing stay with the entire Villa to ourselves, as this was going to be one of the final stays of the trip. This was not our first time travelling in Italy, or staying in rentals & all of our accommodations were as exactly as advertised so we expected the same thing with this home. Upon arriving we had multiple concerns, but the biggest and the reason for this review is to warn others about the awful smell that struck us immediately after opening the front door. The smell of mold was so bad that within 5 mins of being there, developed a very bad headache and felt sick, not being able to stay indoors. We contacted the host & explained our concerns, that we would have to arrange other accommodations. Initially he was very responsive & understanding. Agreeing to look into what resolutions would be offered but asked us to give a few days, which we did. He has now decided to not provide any solutions/compensation for the money we are out of pocket & told us to look into alternative ways of requesting a refund & has stopped replying. Overall very disappointed in the host & this property!! Other items to note: -Beach not within walking distance - more remote than listed -Old garbage/debris -Unkept grounds - broken tree's & not maintained -Pool was dirty -Home did not seem to be cleaned very well

Great house, great island

We had a great stay in the house. It is beautifully situated with view on the sea and the sunset and at the back the Mountain. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable and the garden and Pool are great! The town of Capaci is also nice and it is easy to do trips from there. The owners are very committed that your stay is comfortable and communication was very easy. Overall a great stay and a great house!

Magnifique vue

Grande Maison avec magnifique vue sur la mer et aux pieds d une montagne. La piscine est extra et la maison spacieuse. Elle est très bien située à 20 min de Palerme et 15 min de mondello. Situation parfaite pour visiter les environs. Attention aux familles avec de jeunes enfants car la piscine n'est pas sécurisée et les escaliers peuvent être dangereux. Dommage nos enfants n'ont pu priofiter de la cabane dans les arbres car elle n'était pas accessible, le four hors service et pas d'eau chaude dans la suite parentale et manque une climatisation dans une chambre. Mais ça n'a pas gâché nos vacances car la maison est confortable et très bien décorée. Et quelle vue !!!

Magnifiiiiiiiique vue panoramique, calme ainsi qu’une belle piscine privée. Villa spacieuse, bien équipée et un véritable privilège d’avoir comme première vue au réveil, la mer et la montagne. Ses grandes terrasses pour assister au beau couché de soleil quotidien et son confort en font un endroit où l’on se sent bien. Lovely villa with a stunning view and garden

The house is even more beautiful than it looks in the pictures. The living area is huge and features panoramic windows of the sea. The kitchen is very well equipped, there’s everything you may need. The bedrooms are spacious and with plenty of storage space. The garden and pool are really well kept and the children enjoyed splashing and playing around. The house is perfect for one or two families who want to enjoy the panoramic and quiet location and the private garden and pool. The location is ideal for its proximity to the airport, the beach is 5 min away and Palermo about 15-20 min by car. From here you can easily reach San Vito Lo Capo, Scopello and Lo Zingaro natural reserve. The sunsets from the pool are alone worth the stay. We loved everything of this house and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting this part of Sicily.

Wunderbarer Sizilien-Urlaub mit Freunden

Die Villa in Carpaci ist absolut geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hat uns allen - wir waren 6 Erwachsene - sehr gefallen. Nachdem es nur 1 SZ mit integrierten Bad gibt, mussten sich 2 Familien ein separates Bad mit Dusche teilen, was für eine Woche jedoch kein Problem war. Ein weiteres WC im Untergeschoss ist vorhanden. Ein großer Pluspunkt ist die große offene Küche (super Kühlgefrierkombi), sehr gute Küchenausstattung - was nicht üblich ist - und der wunderschöne Essbereich. Zahlreiche, bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten laden zudem zum Chillen & Relaxen im Innenbereich ein. Der Pool hat uns positiv überrascht, man kann bequem kleine Runden drehen, was anhand der Fotos für uns nicht so ersichtlich war. Fairerweise muss man sagen, dass es nur 2 Liegen auf der großen Terrasse am Pool gibt, was für die Anzahl der möglichen Gäste unseres Erachtens einfach zu wenig ist. Die weißen Metallstühle sind leider etwas unbequem und könnten auch mal wieder neue Farbe vertragen. Die zweite, kleinere Terrasse haben wir gar nicht genutzt - es gibt jedenfalls genug Möglichkeiten für alle zum Entspannen, auch auf dem großen Balkon mit schöner Aussicht. Alles in allem haben wir unseren Urlaub mit vielen Unternehmungen absolut genossen. Der Standort ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Trips in die Umgebung, Palermo, das Naturschutzgebiet Zingaro & Scopello und ist Pflichtprogramm :-) . Die Villa ist nahe einem Industriegebiet, was aber nicht störend für uns war, der zauberhafte Meerblick entschädigt hier. Am Hafen bzw. Strand findet man auch leckere Lokale. Der Kontakt vor Ort und mit der Agentur ist absolut super und alle sind sehr hilfsbereit. Einzige Kritikpunkte: der Außengrill und der Backofen (Backblech) sollte mal gründlich gereinigt werden, beides haben wir so nicht nutzen wollen. Wie auch die Kaffeemaschine, da haben Vormieter den Filter leider nicht entsorgt .... wir haben dann per Hand gefiltert - man weiß sich zu helfen ;-). Fazit: Sizilien ist immer wieder eine Reise wert - wir kommen wieder!

Très agréable Villa

Villa spacieuse et bien équipée. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'intérieur plus que l'extérieur. Superbe couché de soleil sur la terrasse de la chambre parentale. Nous recommandons cette location pour la Sicile. Bonne situation pour excursionner à l'ouest de la Sicile.

Tutto semplicemente meraviglioso

siamo stati benissimo. La casa è esattamente come viene descritta se non ancora più sorprendente... Cortesia e gentilezza del Sig. Nino che ci ha accompagnato alla casa. Sicuramente da consigliare per chi vuole fare una vacanza in comitiva con ogni confort a disposizione.
