Quiet 1 bedroom cabin located on the South Fork of the Coquille River

Covid19 info: All surfaces cleaned with disinfectant and all soft surfaces sprayed with Lysol spray. We have left Lysol/bleach wipes/hand sanitizer for renters . We fully remodeled this 1 bedroom 1 bath cabin located just feet from the Southfork of the Coquille River located in Powers, Oregon. The only thing original is the curtains in the kitchen and the 60s pull down lamp over the table! Enjoy the peaceful sound of the river while hiking, biking, hunting and fishing in beautiful Southwestern Oregon. Rental comes with microwave, refrigerator, and furnished kitchen. There is no range but does have a gas BBQ and hot plate for cooking. One bedroom with queen bed and two twin beds in front room. Has sleeping bench to accommodate one extra person.

Nice location by the river to relax and experience nature. Host is located directly behind the cabin rental and is very friendly and welcoming. We loved meeting the property owners pets and seeing the neighbors cows. Living room had a radio to listen to music and there was also a T.V. Available to plug in and a wide range of dvd’s to watch when its time to entertain at night.

The cabin was clean inside upon arrival. Music was playing on the radio which was inviting. Enjoyed the quiet space and of course the river! My two suggestions would be for the front porch to be cleared of cobwebs and the electrical output near the twin beds to work.

Keri’s place was just what we needed for a quick Memorial Day getaway. The weather was perfect for us to spend time in the river right behind the cabin. Check in was easy. The place was peaceful, well stocked, and our dogs enjoyed it just as much as we did! Thank you Keri, we’ll definitely be back!

What a sweet lil gem ! Anyone that likes to fish, hunt or just kick it on the river, this lil cabin spot is the place to be. Great hosts very peaceful and quick lil walk to town if needed. Will be back

Honey Badger Ranch was purchased by three friends as a "guys getaway" space. We have remodeled the 1970's cabin so others can enjoy the Southwestern Oregon beauty and rural life.

Why they chose this property

The property was purchased for the owners to enjoy a get away location that was not too far from home. Powers was also one of the owner's home town. When looking at the property it was a "Diamond in the Rough" and we all could see the wonderful times that could be had on the river with family and friends.

What makes this property unique

Cabin is less than 100 feet from the South Fork of the Coquille river. There is a large gravel/sandbar for lounging and wading in the river. The river has gold if you are willing to work for it. No t.v. in cabin so you can totally unplug and relax. Town is right down the road so you can pick up anything you may have forgotten for your trip.
