What a beautiful location! Us girls really enjoyed looking for rocks, floating in the water, and basking in the sun. We visited Fishtown and the Sleeping Bear dunes. Lots of memories were made! It was exactly what our souls needed. We would absolutely stay here again!
Absolutely a five-star setting. The location, expansive windows, views and thoughtful recreation amenities make this an incredible value and great option for a couple, friends or family. Quiet setting and gorgeous rock-filled beach. The home is extremely clean, cozy and offers what’s needed. It’s not a five star rating only because the interior/furnishings and lack of some comforts reflect the home’s age (as accurately shown in pictures - not new/modern). However, it doesn’t detract from enjoying the trip. We had a few questions upon arrival, and the experience proved the owners are responsive, attentive, super nice, and committed to ensuring guests have a positive experience.
Great home with beautiful views of Lake MI steps to the beach, well equipped, in fantastic location for summer fun!

Disliked: Check-in, communication
Really bad response time and poor planning.
My wife and I took our mini moon here. We were given the garage code and a code to the lock box for the front door. We arrived late on Friday evening so we went in through the garage door. We locked the man door to the garage before bed because there were other doors to the garage and we wanted to be safe. We left the next morning and closed the door behind us. We thought; “no big deal, there’s a lock box with a key”. We went to get the key and it wasn’t there. We contact the site manager and they sent out someone to attempt to break into the home. They somehow managed to access doors that we thought would’ve been locked to the garage, but weren’t. They then decided to call a locksmith out and it took nearly 4 hours to regain access. They were very little help
We have always spent summers on Lake Leelanau, this was our first time staying on Lake Michigan and it was awesome! The house was clean and had everything we needed. Great location just south of Leland. We picked about 500lbs of petoskeys off the beach right in front of the house, if you're into rock hunting this strech of beach is private and untouched from other beach walkers. Rocks galore! We will miss falling asleep to the waves!
Was a nice place to visit, we enjoyed kayaking and paddleboarding in the calm bay of Lake Michigan.
Fishtown is near by and fun to go during the day, lots of wineries around.
Property location is great, wineries, Leelanau, Glen Arbor, beaches, hikes, restaurants within easy driving but still remote enough to be peaceful and serene. Everyone involved with the house was fantastic, we will be back
This is such a special place! The setting is so peaceful and beautiful, and the house is a perfect home base for exploring the area. It was comfortable, clean, and included lovely touches that made us feel at home. Mary Lou was a very helpful host. I am already dreaming of my next stay!
Our two weeks at the house were a delight! It is extremely comfortable, perfectly located and had everything we needed -- from kayaks and children's books to laundry detergent -- and the views of the lake are spectacular. It was so perfect that we have already reserved our stay for next year.
We had such a great time staying here on Lake Michigan for a week!! The property is in an ideal location to be able to jump into the lake any time and watch spectacular sunsets from both decks. We had dinner on the porch every night and were on the kayaks and paddle board every day. Would absolutely recommend this place and we hope to be back! It fit seven adults well.
Perfect spot for adult family members to celebrate a milestone birthday. Plenty of open living space surrounded by windows on two sides. Enjoyed all meals on deck facing the water. Quiet, private street. Easy to get to everything from here: vineyards, dunes, Traverse City, etc.
Wonderful home that backs up directly to Lake Michigan. The home was well equipped, everything worked, and the neighborhood was quiet but very close to Leland. The sights and sounds of the lake from the backyard deck were beautiful.
The pictures do not do this property justice! Such a nice, easy space, with lots of windows and beach access to Lake Michigan. The actual house was also well-stocked with items that I wouldn’t normally expect a vacation home to have (dish soap, toilet paper, etc.), which made our stay so much more comfortable! Great house for kids with even a few toys (trucks were a big hit), books, and beach supplies. We enjoyed our stay and thinking about booking next summer!
