Our favorite family memories have been at the lake and yours can be too! Come enjoy this lake front property for family reunions or outings, friendship gatherings, a girls weekend and more! Completely remodeled Lakehouse on Cedar Creek Lake, in Mabank, TX. Located on 1.5 acres, with 383' water frontage, this lot is amazing! Updates include a completely remodeled kitchen with all new appliances, new wooden floors, all new windows and three updated full baths.

This home sleeps 13 in beds with lots of floor space for air-mattresses. It includes a king master bedroom with a smart TV, a private bathroom, a large walk-in closet, large soaking bathtub with separate tiled shower, and a breathtaking view of the lake. The second master consists of a king sized bed also with a smart TV, closet, and 3 large picture windows with a view of the lake. The next bedroom is a queen sized bed with its own closet and chest of drawers. Finally, we have a fun bunk bed room that sleeps 5 (4 twin beds and 1 trundle bed) with 2 closets.

The kitchen is filled with all updated stainless steel appliances including brand new oven, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator with an ice-maker. Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, crock-pot, blender, dishes, a Keurig, and anything else you would need to make meals. There is also a walk-in pantry to store your items and lots of cabinet space if needed. The laundry room is equipped with a brand new full size washer and dryer, and a new stainless steel refrigerator for extra food and beverages.

There is room for the whole group in our large and welcoming living area and dining spaces. The living area includes a couch, sleeper sofa, and chairs with a 65" smart TV for all to enjoy. We have two dining spaces. One is right off of the kitchen and sits 6 and a formal dining room with seats for 8. There is also 5 stools around the breakfast bar for more to enjoy.

The outdoor patio is covered and is equipped with outdoor seating which includes a love seat, two rocking chairs, a swivel chair with ottoman and a table to set your drinks on. The patio also includes a large picnic table with two benches to seat 10-12 if you want to enjoy a meal outside (there are fans). Outside on the patio is a propane gas grill for burgers and steaks and much more. There is plenty of room on the 1.5 acre lot to enjoy any type of games or activities. This includes a large fireplace on a flagstone deck with 6 Adirondack chairs to sit back and relax!

The boat dock has space for 4 sea-doos and one large boat if you are interested in bringing your own or you can rent these on the lake. There is a beach with a gradual incline into the water, or you can jump off the dock into the water with stairs to get back out.

Loved this property! Perfect view of the lake, very cozy home, and Shari was wonderful with communication the entire time. Some things we thought were nice additions- kayaks in the garage to use, three refrigerators, fire pit for s’mores each night, and a great washer/dryer. This is definitely a property we will book again!

Great NYE

We rented this home for NYE weekend. It was a group of 8 of us and there was more than enough space for everyone. The kitchen was gorgeous, beautiful lake access and the home was in perfect shape.

We loved staying at this beautiful house! All the beautiful details really made our stay special. The large living room and kitchen were great for our group, and I appreciated the nice appliances and sharp knives. We had everything we needed. Beautiful lake views!

The house was exactly as pictured. The split master layout works perfectly for two or more families. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. Due to weather, we didn't spend much time outdoors, but the large picture windows along the entire back of the house allowed us to enjoy every wonderful view the lake provides. We highly recommend this property!

Favorite lake house

We have stayed at numerous houses on Cedar Creek but this was by far our favorite of them all. The location is perfect. Convenient to any store you need. The lot is HUGE and perfect for kids to run and play. You feel so secluded on this property in the best way! The kids loved the tree swing. The house was clean and beautiful. The back porch was comfortable with great shade throughout the day. Nice deep water. Location makes swimming very nice because you don't have alot of lake traffic which is a big plus for us with small kids. We will be staying here again for sure! Not a single complaint!

Beautiful house and awesome lake view

What a great home! The house easily accommodated our family of 11. The home is large and very open flow. Plenty of seating for meals and game nights. Everything we needed was available. My teenage kids loved the bunk bedsroom! The fire pit was a big hit with plenty of firewood available. Fishing was really good and we loved the kayaks! The sunsets and sunrises were amazing. The communication with the host was on point and very proactive. I could go on and on about the house.. We will be back and highly recommend it!

What a way to kick off the summer!

You guys! This property is...(chef's kiss) amazing. It is decorated so beautifully. We had a group of MANY teen boys and this home fit our needs perfectly. The separate Master Suite was KEY in all of our enjoyment levels. Bring your lawn toys! We had corn hole and spike ball set up in the MASSIVE back yard. The fire pit and fire wood wood were well stocked and perfect for evenings by the fire. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. We needed NOTHING. Thank you thank you thank you. The memories we made and laughs we had were priceless. We'll definitely come back!

Great Stay

This home is lovely. There are minimal stock supplies on hand so bring your own for both the kitchen and bathrooms. Bunk room is very small. However, it is a beautiful property with large grassy yard areas, front, sides, and back. We had a wonderful time and Shari was in close communication. Having two king beds was a plus. The master is large with an equally large bathroom on one side of the house, with a small bathroom alone on the side of the master. It somewhat lent itself to 3 bedrooms sharing one bathroom. You will enjoy. Come prepared.

Very large yard with nice large house

The house is very nice and the driveway fits a lot of vehicles. The inside of the house is nicely decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has almost all of the things you need for cooking and serving. It only had 1 decent 10" skillet but I always bring mine from the house which is 14". It would be nice if they had some children's plates, cups and silverware to use. The outside porch table and chairs are great. The porch and furniture hadn't been cleaned before our stay. We were able to use the boat lift on the boat dock which was great. The lake was full so there wasn't a beach but the grandkids loved the water being around 1 foot at bulkhead to around 6 foot at front of dock. They caught small catfish and a sunfish off the dock with worms. They loved that!. The house if right by the bridge and there is road noise. They were working on the hwy but it is suppose to be done within the month. We have rented VRBO's for 15 years and this one is at the top of list for nice houses. Shara is great to work with.

Property was very well decorated. The host was very responsive to our questions.

The interior design of the property is very nice and everything functioned fine. The hostess was very nice and responded to our questions quickly. There is some room for improvement. The back porch was very dirty. I think the grass had been recently mowed and the porch was covered in grass clippings and dust. Not a huge deal , we found a broom and sweeped it off. No one had obviously cleaned the table on the back porch for sometime because when we wiped it down it the towel was black. Likewise some parts of the house had not been dusted in a while, I.e. brackets holding mirrors in master bathroom, and shelves in second bathroom. Lastly, having stayed at multiple other Vrbo listings we were a little surprised that the house was not stocked with a few basic amenities like Kleenex, shampoo, foil, and some basic spices like black pepper, garlic and onion powder. These were always provided at the other Vrbos we have stayed at so a little surprised they were not there.

Lake experience

Shara and Chris were exceptional hosts. House had easy access in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. Easy access to grocery stores and other essentials 5-10 miles away. The home is very family friendly and plenty of rooms and beds. All the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels. Having 3 full baths was great. The lake is amazing. So large and not overcrowded. Lake bottom in the area was sandy and comfortable to walk and play. Would recommend highly. We will be back.

Cedar Creek heaven

Our family stayed here for the second year. It is a very nice place. Beautifully decorated and lots of room. A sandy beach and a dock where our kids have caught lots of perch and catfish. Its close to a major road so that is a little noisy but we love it in spite of that. There are huge shade trees and a beautiful big yard for game playing. Our family loves this house!

Awesome 4 Bedroom 3 Bath Home

We loved our stay in this beautiful home! Not only was the home really nice, the yard was big with lots of shady areas. There was plenty of parking and a dock that provided a place for us to keep our boat. The back patio was wonderful and it had a gate that kept our 17 month old granddaughter from walking off the porch. Overall, I highly recommend this lake home and we hope to rent it again in the future! It has been our favorite home we have ever rented through VRBO.

Perfect Lakeside House

The house was perfect. It was exactly as described. The house is right at the water's edge which allowed us to sit comfortably on the gorgeous porch and watch the big kids play in the water. The porch itself caters to small children, families and lakeside togetherness. The porch has fans, plenty of seating and a gate that kept our toddler contained. In addition to the porch and water access, the back and side yards are well maintained for a pick up game of barefoot wiffle ball and there are huge, gorgeous shade trees to help keep cool. There's also a swing on one of the trees! The water offered a sandy shoreline with just enough waves to feel beachy. The sand wasn't white and the water wasn't blue, but we didn't come looking for pristine beaches of Mexico. The water did wash up lots of "treasures" so water shoes are a must. We waded and swam for hours on end. This would be a great stop even if you're not up for the water because the inside of the house is comfortable and welcoming. We will be back! Thanks for a great trip.

Family Christmas in Texas!

Shara (and Chris) were wonderful hosts. The entire process of booking, pre-arrival, arrival and departure was effortless. Shara is a fabulous communicator. Our family spent 6 nights watching sunsets paint the sky with an array of magical colors. Lucky for us it was unseasonably warm, toping off at 81* on Christmas day! The pleasant breeze kept us from enjoying the fire pit (safety concerns with the wind). We cooked every meal at the house, and there was plenty of space with 2 indoor dining areas and a large table on the oversize back patio, which is covered! The kitchen is roomy, there are 2 refridgerators, so we used one for beverages and the main one for other pershiables. The bedrooms are spacious, beds are all very comfortable, and the bathrooms are super nice and roomy. We throughly enjoyed the one floor living! Outside is a huge yard, a giant tree that comes with a swing, and of course the dock if you wish to "walk out over the water". I can't say enough about this property or the hosts. Look no further is you want a magnificant place to enjoy lake and sunset views. Thank you Shara and Chris for sharing your home with our family. Highly recommend!!!

I have lived in Dallas, Texas all my life. I'm married and mom to 3 kids. Being a mom has been my all-time favorite job. I currently work with my Dad and really love that too. After raising kids for 23 years, my husband and I are about to be empty-nesters. Even though the kids will leave, I know they will come back to the lake with friends and eventually families of their own. I look forward to making many more memories at the lake.

Why they chose this property

The lake is the best place to relax, unwind and reconnect. It's also a place everyone loves and can enjoy from young children to older adults. I fell in love with the expansive lot, tall trees and the massive square footage of waterfront on this property. The yard has so much room for young kids to run and play, or older kids to play football or kickball. The lake is my kids' favorite place to go. It's a place to gather, to bring friends, and to celebrate family.

What makes this property unique

This property has such a large yard (it's actually 3 lots), with huge shade trees and with 383 SF of lake frontage. That's what makes it unique. Families will enjoy hours outside playing in the water, fishing from the dock, and playing on the lawn. We have a boat dock to store your boat and/or sea-doos. There are options for renting boats for the day that I can share with you. The fire pit is a perfect way to end the evening, eating s'mores and laughing around the fire.
